Happy with our stay, nothing I didn't like

I couldn't fault it, best bed I've ever slept in ! Our balcony room over looked the river. Only a short walk the the peir to catch ferries. Breakfast was great with a good variety, the restaurant very nice with awesome food. Location was great , close to Kings Palace, temples etc. Small street across the road takes you to Rambuttri rd, plenty of restaurants, cafés shopping atms etc

More of a bar atmosphere would be nice, getting back on an evening and having a drink by the river but the low tables were covered up so we couldn’t sit there

The location is perfect easy walk to Khosan Rd and a short walk to the ferry pier for the tourist boats . We had a room with a balcony while noisy the river is always fascinating. And the staff were exceptional from the doormen to the reception, and the restaurant staff everyone was friendly and helpful .The stand out staff member was New . He was always cheerful and helpful.

Beautiful hotel. Clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Great location for us within walking distance of the palace and temples.Perfect stop after a long journey from the UK. Kids loved a late night dip in the pool to cool off after a busy day in the city. Friendly and super helpful staff. Overall perfect for what we wanted.

The wonderfully warm welcome from all the staff from the moment we arrived. All of your staff were very friendly, kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was beautiful and spacious with a wonderful balcony overlooking the river, which gave relaxing views and, more importantly, a nice cool breeze. The pool area was beautiful and was perfect for a relaxing late afternoon with great service and the chance to have a nice cool swim. The restaurant was wonderful with so many great options for breakfast, and you could sit outside on the terrace and, again, enjoy the views of the river. The evening service and food were excellent, the steak and the salmon dishes we ordered were beautifully cooked and the ambience of the restaurant was perfect for us. The area outside is very pleasant, with a short walk to many restaurants and also the very lively Khao San Road. There is also an excellent ferry service a 2 minute walk away, taking you to the many amazing temples and palaces along the river. We have already booked to stay again at Christmas as we enjoyed our stay here so much.

I stayed at Riva Surya in Thailand and really enjoyed the experience. The room was comfortable, and the hotel’s location right on the river made for stunning views and easy access to local attractions. We also loved the on-site restaurant, which offered a great selection of dishes in a relaxing setting.

The location was perfect – right by the river, close to major attractions, yet peaceful and relaxing after a busy day out. And the breakfast was amazing – a wide selection of both local and Western options, all fresh and delicious, with the loveliest view to enjoy while eating. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, helpful, and professional. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay in Bangkok – highly recommended!

If you have trouble sleeping you may wish to book opposite side to river as noise through the night. Would not stop me staying here though

We initially booked for 4 nights at Riva Surya and didn't want to leave, so ended up staying for 2 weeks! The staff are all absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful. We booked a premium river room, which I highly recommend! The views at nighttime with the city lit up were amazing. I loved watching all the boats going up and down the river. The room was a large size and was impeccably clean. It's only a couple of minutes walk from a pier where you can go a hop on hop off boat to see all the sights along the river. We can't wait to come back!

Spacious modern room with good A/C, very friendly staff who were very approachable and happy to help. Good location, and a decent view of the Chao Phraya river. We really enjoyed our stay and the bedroom and communal spaces were exceptional clean and well maintained.
