The only thing I didn't like was the bed as it was so hard. I think this is the norm in Thailand because 80% of the hotels I have stayed in Thailand have hade the same problem.

The location was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is by the river and the hotel staff will organise a boat ride if you ask.

No Food and beverage at the resort to serve, just breakfast available. Sometimes guest want to have food and coffee at the resort where they stay, so they can relax and take longer time at the resort to chill, especially when its really hot outside.

the style of the resort is boutique and nice, nice room with charming touch. River view at brealfast area and patio where you can chill.

A beautiful little resort tucked away from the busy street which is filled with bars and restaurants. Only a 10 minute walk to the war cemetery and the Death Railway Museum. Fabulous little swimming pool overlooking the River Kwai. The staff were very helpful and the resort was clean, comfortable and quiet (I had the pool to myself every day that I was there!)

It wasn’t a problem for us but there is the most beautiful bar by the pool which isn’t open. Maybe a lack of staff is the problem? If it was open it would create a more resort feeling.

Middle in the “main street” with lots of choice of restaurants and bars, but still we didn’t hear any noise from our room. The staff are very kind, friendly and helpful. The room was tastefully decorated with a lovely bathroom. The high point from my trip was eating breakfast on the terrace overlooking the river with the sounds of the birds! There is a small infinity pool, with the most amazing view. The owner has a passion for gardening as everything is beautifully kept. We rented a scooter from the lady next door to the resort, and we loved touring around this exceptionally beautiful area. We found the people in Kanchanaburi to be very friendly, I just loved the place! I didn’t want to leave! Next time I will definately stay at Ploy Resort again!

Wonderful location and very kind and helpful staff. Great swimming pool but even better swimming in the river. Very grateful to the staff who helped when I had an injury and needed to visit a local clinic. Hope to return in the future some day.

Serene environment , fantastic river views .Great location for restaurants,convenience stores bars & sightseeing . Walking distance to Bridge, museums & night food markets.Staff were friendly Bee managed a great team .Always attending property. Moved to river view suite as a treat. View & comfort level outstanding for price . Infinity pool amazing all in all a hidden gem.,will definitely return . Happy with laundry, transport & sightseeing recommendations from Bee & staff.

Some people might be a bit surprised by the fact that the bed was hard , for me - I love it .

The pool with the view , the attention of the staff, the location - perfect ! We didn’t expect breakfast with our room so it was a very pleasant surprise to start our day with a nice plate freshly prepared for us. Despite being close to the restaurants and bars, it’s quiet . The rooms are spacious and clean .

The door is not automatic locked. You have to remind urself to lock the door before going to bed. The included breakfast is under expectation... no juice, only coffee and water.

Loved the property and the staff was so friendly and helpful. B helped me check in and went out of her way to make sure I was able to get on the bus to Erawan falls, even though I had just missed the timing, she drove me to the bus on her motorbike so I was able to make it. The resort itself is great (walking distance from the train station & close to many restaurants). From the back, there is a nice sitting area along River Kwai. Very peaceful, pleasant experience. I would recommend this & would love to stay again.

Everything, from the room to the place outdoor. The swimming is awesome with a nice view on the river. The staff is incredibly polite, especially Bee. Perfect location for night life on a street full of bars and restaurants.

The staff are numerous but not very attentive towards guests. They put a lot of attention into maintaining the property but very little attention to the guests. In fact, they often seemed surprised we were there. The bar area by the pool is beautiful but not well-stocked or well-staffed. It’s a shame as it is truly beautiful. In sum, a little bit of training for the staff would go a long way at this property.

This property is amazing and very well maintained! The rooms are simple but spacious and comfortable. The pool area is beautifully constructed. There are areas to lounge and an infinity pool overlooking lotus flowers on the river. You would never know that you are staying on the main road as the property is set back from road.

The staff are always friendly, our first morning at breakfast, an older member of staff was very friendly and helpful but unfortunately there was one younger member of staff that wasn't very friendly on our second day, during breakfast.

It's quiet and peaceful. Very clean and pet friendly. Beautiful views from the breakfast area.

Only thing I can think of is that the mattress is low to the ground. Not sure how comfortable that is for people with back aches.

Property was right in a busy street with nice restaurants, street food and bars but you couldn’t hear anything once in the hotel. Pool and the garden are really nice. Gorgeous sunset! The design of the room and the hotel in general is really nice as well. I stayed somewhere else in Kanchanaburi before going here and really wished I’d have spent my entire time in this hotel instead. They provide shuttles if you ask.
