Polite, friendly, helpful staff; great location if needing an airport transfer, a short walk to a 7/11 and pick-up service for a massage; comfortable beds and exceptionally clean rooms; great food! Outskirts of the madness of the city and felt more rural with the lake. Couldn’t ask for more!

I can only recommend this hotel! Being only a 15 minute drive from the airport, it was very convenient for my layover in Bangkok. The room was simple yet elegant and had all the amenities I needed. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Our second time here. The staff is so nice and friendly. The food is so good and the rooms are clean and amazing. It’s so close to the airport so if you want a stay nearby outside of the city hustle and noise. This is the place to be. Will come back again

Ok place to sleep near Suvarnabhumi airport, no more. But the staff was super nice and helped with many requests we had after check in late at night.

It was perhaps closer to nature than I anticipated, which added to its charm, but as it’s the wet season, I found myself fearing getting bitten by mosquitoes from the marsh. Having said this, I didn’t get bitten and staff were representative of the best of Thailand.

It was spacious and room was exactly as described. Staff were amazing. Property is pretty and green and lush and has both a restaurant and a cafe, which were both good.

The bathroom window is broken and open all the time so it let's gekos in at night which can be bit annoying. The balcony is lovely but couldn't see the full lake due to over grown trees.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel was brilliant, 5 to 10 minutes car journey to the airport and still bit out the way so it feels peaceful. You can walk around the lake and the villa on the lake was lovely. The hotel was clean and they provided water, coffee each day.

When the exhaust fan in the toilet didn't work, there was a smell of sewage.

A corner of peace and mind of creativity. Although there is a road and an airport nearby, you don't feel it at all. The hotel is very natural, birds are chirping, big fish are splashing in the ponds. The staff is very friendly. Delicious breakfast.

This is our 3rd stay at the Ploen. Everything is really great, we find the nature of the green lake environment really relaxing and surprising given the hotel's location to the airport and Bangkok, it's a real hidden gem. The other thing I love is the staff are really helpful and friendly, we stayed for one night in 2024 and we were remembered and welcomed one year later when we stayed again. I would highly recommend the lake view villa. We will 100% be staying next time we're in Bangkok, thanks guys

We couldn't stay longer and enjoy this place.

If I could give 11/10, I would. A part from the location convenient for the airport, this place is magical! The lake view is beautiful, the quietness, the nature, and the birds. The huge window, the balcony with the sunbed to relax, allows you to immerge you in the natural environment. The bed is very comfortable. Room and bathroom spacious with anything you need. The restaurant and bar are designed to enjoy the garden all around. A special thanks goes to the amazing, efficient, and kind staff that helped us in a difficult situation. Thank you guys, you are fantastic! 💌 We hope to come back and enjoy this place to relax. Highly recommended.

Nothing to speak of.

It's close to the airport, down a side street in a residential area which will make it difficult to find but what a great place. The rooms are new, well appointed, set in a gorgeous garden on a couple of small lakes. Furniture is good quality, beds are big and comfortable. The villa rooms on the water are fantastic and offer a great sunset view out on the deck. Cafe on site does great coffee and the restaurant is inexpensive and really good.

Honestly nothing - the only thing I would mention is that it would be a long trip into the city from this hotel, but it's location next to the airport is ideal if you are catching an early morning flight.

This hotel is a short distance from the airport which is why I booked the location. It is beautifully situated next to a lake and having a balcony meat I could sit outside and watch all the many birds flying through the garden. The staff were fantastic - very helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant is also excellent and surrounded by a pond with huge carp!
