Staff spoke broken English, so it was sometimes a bit tricky to request something and receive exactly what you asked.

Bed was ok, the usual semi hard mattress synonymous with Thai hotels, if you get a bad back easy, this might not be the place for you. Stayed during Songkran and a full moon party all in a week so hard to say it was value for money, stay outside of those dates and it probably is worth it. Pool water temperature was a little on the war, side so didn’t enjoy it as much.

Fairly central to the island in all directions. Room was a good size for the 2 of us, wasn’t cramped at all.

Convenient location with laundry place outside, great pool, rooms had air con which worked very well and good water pressure. The best part of the stay was the staff - the owner herself and a member of her team drove us in her family car to the pier, so that we didn’t miss our ferry

Great size room! The bed was really comfortable. Spacious bathroom and proper shower! The pool was amazing and great to relax by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good location - right on the main road so easy to get to restaurants.

It’s kinda noisy, I heard noises from other rooms almost every night. One time it was so loud (because I think it was the closest room to mine) and I heard someone "having fun" (if u know what I mean) like it was in my room. Kinda uncomfortable, but I understand that it’s just thin walls and depends on how mannered will your neighbors be. :-) Also notice that there is no cafe/restaurant in the hotel, so no breakfast/lunch options. If you like super silence and chill places you might rethinking this hotel, BUT I think it was so noisy just because of the season (I were here in January), so almost all “central” places in Phangan were crowded and noisy.

Overall it’s good for this price, because every hotel I booked last years change their price to 2X and now it costs crazy amounts, so I found this hotel and wasn’t sure about it because of the location, but it was all good! 10 minutes (bike/taxi) from Thong sala piere, 7/11 in 5 minutes walking, food court in 10 minutes walking, everything is around! Great cheap cafe in front of the street (No Name Hadd Rin), also you can rent a bike in the hotel (250/day) and they won’t scam you about some scars on the bike and etc (I had experience in this). WiFi is also OK, staff cleans ur room every day, everyone is friendly and polite. The pool is clean AND great beach in 5 minutes walking (also in front of the hotel). And for my girlies with long hair: the water pressure is GREAT, you can wash your hair properly and fast, because usually it’s soooo weak and slow, but surprisingly in this hotel it was all good! Also, I had super cute view from my room, it was like a little backyard, super chill, no one was there. Other rooms have view to the pool, not gonna recommend it especially if u book room in 1st floor, because other people will cross ur room’s view every minute. But my view was GREAT!

There's a few things that stop this hotel being perfect IMO - the curtains hang about 3 or 4 inches off the floor and let in loads of light which is a shame because they are pretty much blackout curtains otherwise, bring an eye mask! The bed is two beds pushed together and the ridge/gap was very obvious. The staff/owners are a bit miserable tbh no one really smiles or looks up, we had a couple weird encounters - but we did get anything we asked for like extra pillows. The biggest issue for us though is the caged bird by the pool, not only is it immeasurably cruel to keep a bird that big locked up all day on its own with no interaction, this bird in particular is also incredibly loud and annoying. We were staying in a room far away from the bird and it still woke us up the first two mornings before we started taking measures to not get woken up (earplugs, blocking gap under door etc..) - I honestly don't think I've ever heard a bird so loud, I feel sorry for the people in the rooms next to it. Overall we did enjoy our stay and found it to be a no fuss, comfortable stay for the most part - I would honestly just avoid the pool view rooms if you don't want to get woken up at 6am every morning and bring earplugs/eyemask.

Big rooms, comfortable (massive) bed, nice pool that was clean, good wifi and telly (we plugged in a fire stick and it worked perfectly). Shower was good, free bottled water left outside room everyday, sockets both sides of the bed, lamp in the room. Location is good, on the main road but set back so it's quiet. Lots of cafes, restaurants and bars around - go to the french cafe next door, best coffee around! A short walk (15 mins) from the pier area for more cafes, restaurants and walking street with lots of bars. 7-11 2 mins walk away. We stayed for the full moon party and this was one of the best looking reasonably priced hotels we could find and the hotel exceeded our expectations based on some of the reviews we read. We spent a lot of time in this hotel chilling/watching TV after a few nights out and can say it was a comfortable place to be hungover lol - easy to get food delivery to the hotel through delivery kpg too.

Whilst wifi was good in most places was patchy in our room. We were above the office so just needed to ask for the office wifi password and that worked better

The old lady - I suppose she's the owner - can be a bit unfriendly, but other than that, the stay was good. The AC doesn't get cool enough either, so I'd suggest either changing them or allowing guests to keep them on, so when we get back from the street, it's not UNBREABLE hot in the room for sleep, work, etc.

The rooms are spacious and the pool area is great too. It doesn't get super crowded as it's more of a family place, so it's perfect to relax a bit and enjoy the island.
