Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FinlandWe have visited Park&Pool resort many times with my family. We keep coming back. Wonderful garden with pool. The cabins are charming and comfortable. The staff is lovely. As the resort is within walking distance from Nong Khai train station, we usually stay here for a night on our way from Bangkok to Vientiane

NetherlandsIn the weekend the pool is used for swimming lessons, so a bit crowded with kids and watching parents. The rooms are not very cosy, bathroom is really outdated.
Pool is great and the area is very green. Restaurant serves good food.

Everything was nice: the location, the gardens, the pool, the stuff...we had to catch an early train to BKK and still could have breakfast and had our luggage taken to the railway station which conveniently is only around the corner. Ideal place to stay the night. And the food wad excellent too.

AustraliaThere was no INTERNET or WI FI it was terrible and because no WiFi the television did not work at all !! Wash basin was leaking water onto floor, advised reception it was fixed but still leaking ? We arrived early and told if we want the room it is 100 baht per hour, we went into town and came back 12.30pm but still cannot have room if I don't pay money. Waited for 1/2 hour and manager told staff to let us into room finally. Breakfast was included but very little variety for guests especially foreigners. Bed was hard and very rickety if you move. Room staff were very helpful and I thank them.
The gardens and pool area were very nice and relaxing. Our room was on ground floor and good location near reception, Cafe. Room was clean, resort close to train station and night market.

NetherlandsAlso read positive parts for context: - room was reasonably clean. It is a Thai wooden house. So wood works and make gaps. So animals can get in easy. (So also think about that if you get stung by mosquitoes easy). Seems room wasn’t used for a few days. So spider webs where at the ceiling again, and left and right some dead bugs around. Only real bad think that i can not blame nature for but really a bad cleaning where the spots in the television. Clearly human made and clearly fully in sight. Fridge was still turned off. Airconditioning isn’t the strongest. For ladies: no make up table with mirror. Only mirror is in the bathroom. But bathroom has no outlets. So hairstyling/drying for lady’s can be bit of a challenge. Same goes for men and electric shaving (if you not have a cordless)
Before I start with this review. Just let me make clear that I booked a Villa (wooden Thai house). And I’m used to Thai accommodation. So from that perspective it was good. Hotel has a nice swimming pool. Staff is friendly. So for Thai standards it was good. For western could still use some improvements.

AustraliaI think it may have been a quiet time, but breakfast didn't seem to fit previous reviews.
Nice room, close to everything. Great pool, reasonable breakfast, and enjoyable cocktails in the bar ( after a little guidance).

United KingdomThe pool s great , the staff are always eager to help and always have a smile . They booked a taxi to the river front prominade so I didnt have to drive and could have a drink. Breakfast is basic but good and as its a buffet breakfast you can eat as much as you want. My 2nd time hear in the last 3 years and really liked it last time . will definitely stay here any time I come to Nong Khai.

LuxembourgThe hotel is 3km from the river and main town and very isolated. Even tuk tuk drivers couldn't find it. Some staff were quite surly whilst others had typical Thai smiles.
A pleasant relaxed atmosphere centred around the swimming pool. Tasteful gardens. Old colonial style building with lots of charm. Food available throughout the day.

AustraliaThe breakfast was very ordinary. Average selection and warm items were quite cold. The main negative with the breakfast was the location. It was located in a large, poorly appointed function room...a big mistake. It would be far better to utilise the attractive pool area and cafe for breakfast. I would also suggest moving the reception away from the function room. This room needs a makeover from someone who has a basic understanding of interior design.
The pool and surrounding gardens were exceptional for a 3 star hotel. The main building and cabins were attractive and well maintained. The room was good...and clean. The location was perfect for transiting via the railway station...just a 5 minute walk.

United KingdomThe pool was good and the rooms are excellence the only thing I didn't like was the breakfast did not cater for vegetarians much all the time I was there I had was eggs on toast yeah 20 of pork beef and chicken every day that the Rieti it was not good at all I thought they should have at least something slightly more with awards people who only at fish and vegetables and I had rice porridge soup with beef or chicken and one time I was there they had fish porridge it's only seems to be catering for the people who eat meat I have been there twice and the breakfast is always the same staff are very good and helpful the restaurant this year has started to cater for vegetarians and posterior which makes a change from last year I think they should consider changing the menu to suit more for vegetarians and people there only eat fish and rituals I will soon go to this place and recommended to my friends
The staff are very good and very helpful clean most of time place was clean and the staff to clean the rooms were excellen the only fools that I can find with this hotel is the breakfast do you are you thought that I can find with this hotel is the br
