How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

low season and hotel prices were great...may be apart from having to pay xtra for any visitors to your room You have paid for 1 or 2 wks accommadation and visitors should not be charged Room and facilities and daily cleaning were great and staff very helpful Location only 15mins walk to bangla rd but many food/bars available on way there pools and dining were more then agreeable nice stay

We arrived on delayed flight at midnight and the previous people in the room had heavily smoked in the room and my wife has asthma and the room was very bad. We had to air the room for two days and spend $30 Aussie dollars on products for 7/11 to remove the odour.
Pool access room was great, breakfast was simple and great in the mornings.

The air conditioner’s drain line was clogged, causing water to leak onto the floor and created a musty smell from the dampness, we could’ve asked to be moved into another room but, we were too busy
The service was amazing, you get value for money. Lovely place. I wish we used the facilities more but we didn’t have the time

If you are wanting a resort vibe this definitely isn’t its definitely a hotel not a resort. But if your looking for something quiet, clean, comfortable, and very affordable this place ticks all the boxes

You couldn’t use pool before 10 Am. Had 2 blackouts, wifi was out for half a day and dropped out all the time. Had to get power point replaced IN bathroom as hairdryer kept falling out.Breakfast was not very good unless you liked Asian breakfast.

I would recommend a long full length mirror in the room and possibly a mirror in the bathroom too (we stayed in a family suite). A microwave would’ve been helpful and also the ability to get ice when the bar is closed would’ve been great too.
The staff here are so so friendly! Everyone we came across made us feel super welcome. They assisted us with anything we requested efficiently and were always happy to help. The hotel is in a good location to lots of places either walking or in a car. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying here, especially with a baby. I travelled with my 6 month old son and they ensured we had a crib for him to sleep in. The pools are open until late so you can get a swim in up until around 9pm I believe which is really good! Beds are very comfortable too, even the sofa bed was ok to sleep in. Thank you so much to all your staff for being so friendly and accommodating!

Shower wasn't hot enough , WiFi poor,had a problem with TV sent man couldn't fix so I done it myself same TV has I got home just needed returning

This is the second time here, great location, 7/11 across the road, bar next door. Walking distance to bangala road, and plenty of shops and a food market around the corner. Breakfast very basic.

I travelled with my family but shared a bedroom with my friend. Wish the frosted glass panel separating the bathroom and bed area didn’t exist. Made showers slightly uncomfortable haha. Wasn’t a fan of the balcony door not having a functional lock either.
Convenient location, walking distance to the beach front and to multiple night markets. There’s always someone at reception willing to help and the beds were so so comfortable.
