The reason I give such a good review is the authenticity and generosity of Stephen sharing information on Pai, scooters and local knowledge with food and everything I was interested in. I have also had a very cosy bed and room with aircon and bathroom that is totally adequate and comfortable in every way I needed. I have a deck which I love to sit on and plan my day in the peace of trees birds and surrounding life ❤️ There are spaces to be on your own and a shared kitchen and lounge spaces for the rainy periods or socialise. The top of the line pool table stares at me daring me to play 😊 Situated perfectly for me up on the hill a short walk from town. Scooter needed to make the most of surrounding mountains. Stephen is available or easily contacted and focused on your comfortable stay, need to extend stay or general problem solving. Yardy, Steve's puppy is also a delight and is a loved member of staff . Very good experience and value for money spent. Thanks Stephen I have really loved Pai and would definitely love to come back and stay here.

Wow! The whole place is amazing. The room is spacious and comfortable with AC, hot shower and a nice balcony directly to nature and mountains and a sky full of stars. Stephen is an amazing and warm host. Forever thankful to have come here

I stayed in the bungalow for a few nights and ended up extending for a week (and perhaps will do that again). It's a simple place but with a heart, and it has everything needed. The bungalow is a cozy little bamboo house. The WiFi is okay for work. Lots of nature around, relaxed atmosphere, peace and quiet. There is a well-equipped kitchen and large areas for chilling. All works well (fridge, cooker, shower heater, etc). Great host, friendly and helpful. And there's a pool table. I'd definitely come here again!

The owner is a great dude! The area is so quiet and relaxing, has some hammocks to chill and friendly staff. The bed was comfortable and the stay was great value.

Really sweet place. Good spot for getting to know other travelers The owner was very nice :) The location is like 5 min drive from the night market and uphill so you will definitely need a scooter to stay here

We stayed at the yard for three weeks for my 30th bday and Stephen (the owner) made sure we were looked after. Fridges always stocked with Changs, bonus treats to make our day, and a super relaxed and laidback vibe for all of it. The location is perfect, just 3 mins on the scooter from the walking street. You can see the mountains from the chillout area and the place is a Mecca for hammock lovers. Yardie, the little pupper, is the cutest thing in the world and there is an over friendly bird that stops by now and then too! Can't imagine staying anywhere but the Yard when I'm in Pai next <3

Great stay at Pai Yard Guest House, best sleep we've had on travels so far! Beds were really cosy. Quiet location and great for having a drink on the hut porch and relaxing. Stephen was really friendly and great with suggestions too. Great price for what you get, can't recommend enough!

That I couldn't stay for longer

I don't usually leave reviews but it was hard not to after staying here. I stayed for 5 weeks while training Muay Thai in Pai and it was perfect. Very near the town but not too close so it's nice and quiet. Mountain view in the day and a beautiful starry view at night. The owner is also very welcoming and solved any issues I had quickly. The best thing is still the owners puppy though 😅
