GermanyThe furnishings are a bit outdated for example the lounge chairs on the beach or the toilet lid. The shower also has a weird sewer smell coming from the drain, but it does not bother much. The restaurant closes early in the evening (at 8pm) so I recommend exploring the island and visiting other restaurants and bars.
The location is amazing, the hotel is right on the beach and it is a very beautiful beach.

BelgiumUnfortunately, I booked this hotel because of their primary picture shown on Booking. Upon arrival, I was looking for the lush jungle behind the orange seats on the beach. But nowhere to be found as the property is maybe 10-15 metres wide.

United StatesOverall, I felt great there but I found the woman working at the resort, likely, as a manager to be quite unpleasant and unwelcoming. Every time I had a question (and I only had a few) I felt like I was bothering her, and she was doing me a huge favor. I guess expected a little more if i’m honest.
The facilities were nice. The location is great, right on the beach, and the beach is never packed, and it’s beautiful. The breakfast was decent. I’m not a breakfast person but from what i have seen it has everything needed to get you ready for your day.

BelgiumThe bungalow is nice (not as dated as some people write) but (nitpicking here) we could've used a little shelf in the bathroom for showerstuff, bit more storage room would be good. The beach beds can indeed use an update and the ones they have could have more cushions on it, and they could have some more of them.
Well located, hotel is right on the beach and the beach they have is very beautiful! Bungalow was nicely designed, very quiet in the evenings and nights and relaxing. Everything very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Perfect place to rest and relax. Value for money is very good imo. Very good massages on the beach - the older the masseur, the better the massage ;)

AustraliaSmall room Room located at very rear of property Air conditioner struggled Very poor maintenance on rental scooters. First one broke down at resort, second one broke down at waterfall. When I finally made it back to the resort they gave me the first scooter again??? Staff don’t even bother to clean mirrors/instruments let alone the bikes. Convenience, safety and customer service around the scooter was poor in our experience. To cap it off I was accused of damaging the second scooter which was absolute rubbish.

AustraliaIt was a slow start when I first thought to have more help transferring from another accommodation, but it's ok. Understand you are vulnerable as a solo tourist on an island when negotiating transfer... You also definitely need a scooter. The resort sits in a fantastic spot, maybe it's more happening in high season, however felt the potential is far greater than currently realised.
The resort is extremely well positioned and my room was fantastic (D7). Staff are lovely, always good to have good communication at front of house, but my gratitude goes also for behind the scene staff, cleaners, gardeners, cooks. I very much enjoyed my stay, granted in low and wet season, it does have its charms (more private and peaceful). Thank you to all. Please care for my favourite doggy 😄

SlovakiaI would recommend changing the chairs and tables in the restaurant, the chairs on the terrace by the bungalows and the sunbeds on the beach. Overall, it's fine, but it needs a redesign! However, it is definitely necessary to add shelves for storing clothes in the rooms. Breakfast was sufficient for me personally, but I believe that it would not be enough for someone. Yogurt was missing….
The great location of the hotel on a beautiful beach made up for all the shortcomings of the hotel. First of all, I was stressed about this hotel based on the reviews, but everyone forms their own opinion. We spent two weeks on the island and I enjoyed my stay in Meed. Peace, comfort and silence were priceless. Yes, it is a simple hotel, but completely sufficient for a stay on the island. We went through all the resorts and decided that Medee was a great choice. We travel around Thailand often and we meet much worse hotels. This hotel is definitely not for families with children! which suited me. The pool is not necessary as there is a beautiful beach and you can swim in the sea even at low tide. It is necessary to use a scooter, but that is almost everywhere, as everyone wants to explore the island. The staff was super friendly and the hotel manager really tried to accommodate every client's request. I liked how they took care of the greenery and the garden. Also, which is not often seen in Thailand, but the beach was still cleaned every morning. Silence and peace are important to me on vacation, and I enjoyed that to the fullest in Meede for which I thank you and I believe that we will see each other again soon.
