How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewMy family (including 2 teenagers) loved everything about the property! It has been lovingly and creatively restored by wonderfully friendly and helpful owners; the bedrooms are spotlessly clean, cool and so comfortable; and it is in an amazing location - easily walkable to the vibrant, fashionable riverside communities of Song Wat and Talat Noi, as well as world renowned Chinatown. It’s such a treat in Bangkok to be able to wander interesting neighbourhoods without need of taxis or Tuk tuks (though these are of course easily available). The coffee, homemade sourdough bread and other delicious food & drinks offered in the cafe downstairs are also impecable. We ate there far more often than originally planned (even though we were given some good local recommendations by owner Nalina). We even came home with some gorgeous ceramics bought at the gallery space. We really can’t rate Mana Craft highly enough and would love to return.
If you are a light sleeper, request one of the back bedrooms to avoid traffic noise.

Verified reviewStayed 4 nights. Interesting renovated building. Small roof top terrace. Good location Around 800m to start of China Town or 800m to MRT at old Railway Station Room nicely renovated with reclaimed materials. Great shower Bathroom. Room spacious with small seating area. Apple wardrobe space.
Disappointed that Cafe down stairs was closed 3 days out of the 4 due to Songkran. One of main reasons we chose Mana Craft Stay was the cafe. We had one breakfast which was wonderful with many elements made/baked in Cafe, but this was all we managed which was disappointing Room was quite noisy due to TukTuks until around 01:00 that have bad relationship with exhausts. Windows fit where they touch so zero noise insulation. 2nd night and subsequent nights were better than first for me as you kind of acoustically acclimatise but wife struggled with noise combined with Jetlag.

Verified reviewI really enjoyed my stay at Mana Craft Stay. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I received an upgrade because the room I originally booked was above a busy street, and I requested a quieter one (I got the one with two bed). The new room was great—I really liked the decor, it was very clean, and I slept very well. The host also gave me many useful tips for dining, Thai massages, and more. Mana Craft Café is also lovely, and their coffee and scones are delicious. The location is excellent, close to the metro and in a very local neighborhood. I will definitely come back :)

Verified reviewFabulous place to spend a few days in the city. Shabby chic interior and very classy. Gorgeous coffee shop. Great speciality coffee and cakes/breads and additional retail space which you wander through on your way up to the rooms Nana was lovely and the family and staff were very nice The room was large, comfortable, great shower and bathroom and is styled beautifully in keeping with the whole building Well located and easy to get to all parts of Chinatown and the bars as well as close to MRT to travel across the city We really enjoyed living there for a few days and hope we get chance to do it all again sometime soon x
Stairs slightly tricky with suitcases but that’s only 2 trips in your stay

Verified reviewThe whole place is well curated and the host is very lovely. Good coffee and western breakfast. There is also an art gallery upstairs.
Make sure you get the right room asigned. The one on the terrace as no floor above it and the bangkok sun is shining right on the concrete roof. We could not cool down our room to a comfortable temperature, even with AC running on max. During the night the heat absorbed by the concrete will keep you sweating.

Verified reviewVery authentic place. Just three accurately decorated rooms on top of excellent cafe (try them out, the food is great), ceramic studio and small art gallery. Loved the sound of my wooden floors. Run by family who are excellent hosts! Very helpful and kind.
Can be noisy due to street. I m very noise sensitive. But it won’t influence my rating as I still inspired by my stay and definitely want to return!

Verified reviewThe rooms were so airy with plenty of space to spread out. The staff helped us with check in after 1am as this was our first hotel in Thailand after the flight from the US. The cafe and restaurant were a delight. The coffee was excellent—a welcome surprise for a couple of coffee snobs, and the food was delicious as well. Finally, it was great to be steps away from Chinatown and the amazing Song Wat Road neighborhood.

Verified reviewI have never seen such a nice small, cozy, fantastically decorated hotel in Bangkok as Mana Craft. Everything is thought out with love and attention. Mana and her family are super sweet and hospitable owners. The room was beautiful, beautifully and tastefully decorated. The coffee downstairs was the best in all of Bangkok. The neighborhood, there is no better place, within walking distance of Chinatown. A nice quiet neighborhood. If I come to Bangkok again, I will definitely not skip this beautiful place. They have a nice little menu with sourdough bread. I would have loved to take all the art on the wall home with me. Mana is a top hostess and as a family they have a hidden gem there, no other place in Bangkok can match that. They make you feel very welcome and you feel completely at home in Mana Craft. I love Mana Craft! Wow!

Verified reviewExcellent location fabulously done guest rooms. Obviously the owners did a lot of work and results are rewarding. The coffee shop below is also fantastic. They were very accommodating.
Aah...The 2 small single beds which cannot be even put together if u wanted to ! I had requested a king bed/ double bed while booking and this took the mana off considerably :( Hope this is taken positively.. Another thing was the lack of black out curtains. Nothing much that u can do about the noises of the city.
Dear Azif Khan. Thank you so much for your appreciation on our place. We are sorry that we couldn’t reply to your requirement on replacing the twin beds with king size bed.
