I didn’t use the spa pool as not sure if it was clean and no other swimming pool The garden sea view room had a lovely view however a damp smell was noticed possibly due to heavy rain. Shower pressure somewhat low and temperature not as hot as I prefer

The bathroom was not completely closed so the warm air from outside can make that room very hot.

The location was great 10 minutes from the action but also far enough to be quiet and peaceful.

Nothing, good for me.. as long as i can see the sea and the delicious massive jacuzzi!

As long as you have the sea and jacuzzi viewing its great! Highly recommended! They have this private beach clean and with sunbeds!!! Breakfast fantastic and all the people working in this hotel is kind and very helpful.. its a short walk to the town and a minute to the beach… appreciate no noise and slept well!

Even though it was advertised as an adults only resort and the reason we booked it, there was a family with a baby in the room next door that cried through the night on both nights we were there.

The location is great. Just a few steps away from the beach and more to the quiet side of the island.

I bumped my head a few times on a shelf over the coffee area. Not built to accommodate people who are 6 feet tall.

Fantastic stay here. From the start the staff is incredibly friendly. This area of the island is quiet. Private beach access. Access to kayaks and snorkels. They will directly book private tours and onward transport. Restaurant and bar right out front. And lots to choose from with the included breakfast. Hot shower, cold AC, and a comfy bed.

This stay was perfect for us. The room was nice and clean with good air conditioning and a beautiful view. Mama Beach Residence took care of any and all needs that we communicated and then some. They have boat tours and kayak rentals available, snorkeling and whatever else you might be interested in. You could also get them from any of the vendors in town, but they have them here also for a competitive rate, and they don't push any of it. It's far enough away from the central pier to give you peace and quiet in the evenings, and close enough for anything you might want like access to all the restaurants or shops (about a 10 min stroll down the beach). Addy, at reception, was exceptionally helpful in making sure we were all set to go for any topics. Great English and even found and was vigilant about returning a lost item that we forgot in the room in perfect condition. I would highly recommend this location and would stay here again if returning to Phi Phi.

The power in the half the room (including the shower heater) turned off after showering a certain amount of time (after maybe 5-10 mins) 2x, security guard doesn’t know how to reset so have to finish with cold shower and go to bed without light/charging. It didn’t happen with my dad’s room so it must have been something wrong with the electric in ours only.

The location is fantastic - away from the noise of tonsai pier while being right on the beach and close to tonsai. Very kind staff, delicious breakfasts, comfortable beds. Excellent stay

A little expensive compared to other options on the island but worth it for the peace and quiet.

Great location, isolated from the louder parts of the island but close enough to walk to if you want nightlife. Was given a free room upgrade. The staff are all extremely kind and helpful, breakfast is also really good. I forgot to hand the room key in after checking out but the staff were extremely understanding. Definitely recommend and will look to return soon.
