Good food, great staff,lovely beach, remote location. 3 days was sufficient. We don’t have kids but loads of kids about with great play area/ jungle gym, shallow sea for them to enjoy. We requested rooms far away from play area and pool and found them to be quiet enough. Quick response to any enquiries

Very comfortable huts, good value out of season. Staff were lovely, best food and value on the beach. However be aware that out of season there was a lot of construction going on and burning of rubbish - not the hotel’s fault but it spoiled our enjoyment. Also the sea here is shallow and very warm. Great for kids but not so great if you want a proper swim.

The location is gorgeous, the beach has the finest white powder sand, and crystal clear water (but not suitable for snorkeling as there is only sand at the bottom) and a great playground for kids with many swings and climbing possibilities. Very kind staff that help you organize trips, taxis etc., nice pool that is shallow at the one side and about 180cm at the other end ,- great for the kids (this is mainly a family resort. Apart from some minor details such as the bathrooms, the resort feels more like a 4 star resort although it is only 2 stars. Very good restaurant rigth at the beach, that is very affordable (main courses are around 150-200 baht). Many people from other resorts come here to eat. There are super cool fireshows and bbq on Wednesdays and Sundays in the evening. 7 eleven and plenty other shops located about 5-10 walking minutes away. Very much recommended for families with kids age up to 10 yo I would suggest

We liked the beachfront location, good coffee and decent breakfast. In amongst the most beautiful jungly gardens. Other choices for beachfront dining. Peaceful spot.

That we couldn't stay longer.

The setting is amazing, all the staff are very friendly, breakfast was good, the omelette station was a treat. Great pool, family friendly feeling. Really good that there was no smoking or cannabis allowed around the pool. One of the comfiest beds we've had in Thailand.. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway. It was my wife's first time in a hut style room and she loved it. Would definitely stay again.

Restaurant this time round was really bad, we've been here about a month before and it was 11/10, now it was more like a 5/10, not sure what happened

Beach, climbing park, pool, lots of toys shared. Rooms are great, we use this to take a break 'from the island' and it work a charm and the beach is beautiful

Absolutely nothing to dislike

This is such a beautiful resort in a great location. ,in fact 😍 amazing , the sounds of nature , the beach is great 👍 accomodation is very comfortable ,beautiful balcony with a hammock ,my retreat only staying one night .

From the moment we were greeted at reception we felt like royalty. We booked 2 bungalows. It was lovely to have both an aircon and fan in the room. The kettle and mini fridge was an added bonus. The 2 bottles of water were nice. We went for massages twice and it was so relaxing. The ladies went the extra mile. The breakfasts were great with a good variety of Western as well as Thai dishes. Everything was freshly made. It was lovely to enjoy our breakfasts next to the beach. The hammock on the veranda was nice. There is also enough space to hang up laundry. The last night we signed up for the BBQ and fire show. That was an experience. The food was tasty. Walking to the 7-11 was a short walk on the beach. It is a resort that caters for families with children and we enjoyed seeing families together. The kids did not bother us at all. There are enough sunbeds on the beach as well as next to the pool. We will definitely return in the future.

The rooms had thin walls and you could hear other children from your hut

e had a fantastic stay! The pool was perfect for kids—safe, clean, and lots of fun. Our little ones didn’t want to leave! The beach is just as beautiful, with soft sand and clear water—great for both play and relaxation. The restaurant was a highlight. Everything we tried was delicious, and breakfast was especially lovely—fresh, tasty, and with a good variety to suit everyone. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing beach getaway with great food and kid-friendly facilities. Massages were fairly priced and also very good

Our bungalow leaked during heavy downpour which was a little annoying, but nothing too serious. We were also charged 3x the amount for our last bill at the restaurant, however, as we only noticed upon checking out, we didn't have the time to dispute this. Make sure you check your bills. More rules for the children need to be put in place, and possibly guiding their parents as to what is acceptable behaviour in a restaurant and what is not. They most definitely shouldn't be running around, swinging things and screaming as people eat their meals and serve their breakfast.

Longtail is an amazing resort with a restaurant and spa attached. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, and all day and night you can listen to the tunes of the jungle, orchestrated by all the animals around. There are many children around, however, as long as you don't hate children this will most likely not be a problem.

Mosquito nets had loads of holes - they could do with replacing as they are definitely needed.

Lovely bungalows nestled into the forest right on the beach, lovely restaurant, great food, nice breakfasts with plenty of options. Bungalows were spacious, clean and well kept. We enjoyed chilling in the hammocks on the veranda. Beach is kids friendly as very flat and shallow. Pool ideal for kids although a bit cool. Hotel staff was nice and happy to help with various logistical requirements. It is the nicest spot in the whole beach, quiet and very peaceful and relaxing.

The lights in our bungalow were a bit too dark, but it wasn't an issue at all. Be aware that most of the occupants were families with small children and infants. If you're looking for an adults-only concept, this is not that kind of a place.

Great location, all bungalows are surrounded with beatuful vegetation and the whole resort is very well maintained. Bungalow we stayed in was much more comfortable than we expected. Resort has a pool, spa, laundry, restaurant and accessible beachfront just one minute walk from the bungalows. Food in the restaurant is top quality and prices are more than fair. It's difficult to express how nice and helfpul the entire staff is. I had a foot injury and they helped me immensely with everything. 11/10 for the staff! The beach itself is great. 7-eleven and a small food court are 10 min walk away. You can also rent a scooter for 250 baht a day and the rental place is 2 min walk from the resort.

Bed linen and pillows were pretty old and low quality.

This was a very nice stay in authentic 2br wooden boat house with its own magic. The house has panoramic windows, big terrace with chairs, table and hammock and wonderful view to the jungle and sea. Every room has AC. Nice territory full of green and flowers. In the night there are a lot of geckos, tokays and fireflies so you can enjoy the nature without getting up from the hammock. Food in the restaurant was good and not so expensive. Also you need to consider that this is one of the most remote location on the island Which has its bright sides such as untouched nature and clear sea but also has downside such as long trip from the pier and poor infrastructure around Which means you barely can find a restaurant, bar or party around after 10 pm.

Cute wee bungalows in a beautiful tropical garden, pool and beautiful beach on your doorstep! Restaurant was good and prices fair, the staff were friendly and helpful. Surrounding area is diverse and spectacular- we explored the East Coast on scooters which were an easy hire locally and a great way of seeing beyond the beach and resort.

The rooms have poor illumination.

Excellent and beautiful garden, very good swimming pool, in front of the beach, can see the sea in the swim. Comfortable and simple bungalows, with air conditioner, frigobar and ventilator. No television. Very far away the city . If you want rest, contact with the nature is perfect for you. Avoid the rooms near the pool. Good breakfast and good restaurant. Near it was a village with restaurants and convenience store.
