How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The room was veryyyy small
The rooms were very clean and the staff was nice. The hostel seems to be close to the center but not in the center which was nice because it was not a long walk away and the area was quiet.

It’s away from the beaches
The property is in Krabi city, very close to the markets and city centre. The staff is super helpful and excellent, they gave us great tips and deals and were very accommodating to our requests. They have a great vibe. Would definitely recommend.

Next time in Krabi I’d just stay closer to the beach but it was still quite convenient

Sometimes, it was a little unclean, and I had to ask for service to the ladies bathroom.
Excellent reception who are very responsive and helpful. Was given a bottle of water when I checked in late at night. Able to wash and dry clothes yourself or an option to have them done for you. Towel provided. Frosty air conditioning in the room from 5pm to 9am. Easy to access the town and close to Krabi River.

The rooms have skinny walls, so you can hear the other rooms.
The staff is nice, and they sell tours there.

Not a big fan of the music playlist, but that's all subjective.

If a hostel is what you are looking for, than I recommend this one in Krabi Town. We had a room for 2 person that also had a private bathroom. The room was clean and the price was very good and affordable.

I feel the AC could be turned on a little before 5pm to help with relief from the midday heat.
Awesome converted movie theatre, very nice staff and clean facilities, good strong AC.

Good: Staff is nice and knowledgeable, place is very spacious and quiet. Good perks with fruit and that stuff. Bathroom and showers no problems. Bad: slightly run down, room felt like a prison cell but nice to experience that. Wi-Fi bad in my room.

The air conditioning stops for some hours a day, so the dorm gets really hot.
The Location is good, just in the middle of the old town. The roof top bar is a big plus! It is fun to stay in an old cinema :)

its great because I ended up hanging out w the people staying there. so its convenient to stick together and party. grateful for late nite ramen snack and the foot shower for sandy wash.

Fabulous hostel. Plenty of sitting areas. Can be very social or not. Black out curtains in the dorms, nice sized lockers in the rooms too. Comfortable and cool rooftop bar. Posters throughout the hostel advertising tours, things to see and do in Krabi, best restaurants etc. Very helpful staff. Nice to have the self serve washer and dryer on site. Free bicycles.

Nothing that should influence your choice on whether to come here or not.
Really cool hostel located in a repurposed cinema, owner clearly has some experience in running a hostel. Amazing rooftop bar with view to the river. We stayed in a private room which was clean with a good shower.

There is only one bathroom on the level where the femal dorm is.
The beds where very comfy with the option to close your space with a curtain. The only thing I was not aware of before is that there is no window. The staff was super friendly and I enjoyed the rooftop bar a lot.

Single budget rooms smelt like chemicals when cleaned and no window to air it out.
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Can meet other travellers easily. Good for solo or group visitors. Laundry facilities on site.

The beds have mosquito bites, they have to make them clean and comfortable bed
