I got a middle room and there were only two small slits as windows bellow the ceiling which made it a little dark during the day

The family run boutique hotel looks lovely and is at a very good location, quiet central and at a main road but still quiet and has a flair of some kind. Also the interior of the room is very decent and the bath area is done nicely

Everything at Le Canal Boutique House was great! The bedroom & bathroom were very clean, the staff was incredibly kind and helpful in scheduling activities, and the location is central. Would definitely stay here again.

It is a bit noisy at night; the traffic right outside starts around 5 am. Additionally the bathroom fan is very noisy; even if off and the neighbor’s fan is on it is quite loud. The sheets are heavily scented with flowers. Wish they tone it down. Beside above, overall a great stay!

Friendly and accommodating staff. Appreciated they let me do a very early check in. Good location with easy access to the old town. The room was spacious.

the location is absolutely amazing! there's local market, a small area night market with loads of venders selling foods, 711, laundry places, big big shabu, and a fantastic jazz bar just in five minutes walk the owner and staffs are so friendly and nice, they booked local tour for us, gave us information of delicious food, where to hang out when we want some local authentic thai cuisines, and really easy to chat with, we are so lucky to travel at chiang mai during asanha bucha day, so the owner and the staff told us if we do merit at the temple, the monks will pray for us, that's a experience we can never miss, i was so thankful for this information the room is cozy, just like our own house, and they clean the room for us every day! the price is also really fair! i'll definitely coming back next time if i'm traveling to chiang mai

I loved this place! The staff is amazing, always helpful and attentive to anything you need. The hotel is in a great location. The room was small but perfect for me: the bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and clean. I especially appreciated the sweet snacks provided to enjoy with coffee, such a nice touch. Without a doubt, if I come back to Chiang Mai, I would definitely stay here again. Also, before my arrival, they informed me there was an issue with my assigned room, but when I got there, everything was already sorted out and they had a great alternative ready for me, I didn’t have to wait at all. I would choose this place again a thousand times.

The rooms were comfortable, they went above and beyond with snacks in the room, and even for my friend‘s birthday, the owner bought her traditional Thai treats. The location is perfect, and they were very helpful with suggestions. I was sad to leave Om when we left! She had been so warm and accommodating. When we arrived early, we got to hang out in the living room area and they made our rooms up quickly.

My fav place to stay in Chiang Mai. The staff make you feel welcome, and provide any assistance you need. The beds are comfy, and rooms spotless. Toiletries provided, excellent location, and excellent value for money. In Town Cafe is a gem.

My room had no window, but the room was perfectly quiet! :)

I really loved the friendly and attentive staff! Especially the owner of the hotel offered me to leave my luggage for two days at her place, because I had a stayover in Pae. This made my travel really smooth and easygoing! :) The hotel offered also complimentary water bottles every day. Besides, the location itself was also perfect for short walks into the old town, but at the same time to the modern part of the city, too.

The room was quite small and the water pressure in the shower wasn’t the best. At night, some outside noise could be heard since the windows aren’t fully soundproof. However, nothing that ruined the experience.

The hotel is very charming, with lovely decor details and a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. The location is excellent — you can easily walk to temples, markets, and great cafés around Chiang Mai. The staff were kind and always willing to help. Great value for the price.

The family who runs the hotel is super sweet and we enjoyed our stay a lot! The room was clean and event though they didn’t have a room left with a double bed since the hotel was fully booked they moved the two single beds together with a large topper. Also they help with organizing activities and are very kind! 10/10 would 100% recommend!

only issue may be that there is no elevator but the staff offer to carry your bags up

The only thing I can think of is that there was no hand soap in my room's bathroom. Idk why I did not bring this up to the staff at the time as I'm sure they would have given me some! I used it as an excuse to buy some nice soap from a nearby place so it all worked out.

Cute place, excellent value, friendly staff, very clean. Easy to find and orient yourself from its location next to the canal in old Chiang Mai. I arrived from the airport an hour before check-in and hoped to store my bag while I found somewhere to beat the midday heat until my room was ready; the staff pointed me to their air-conditioned common room on the second floor and it was a perfect place to wait and figure out evening plans. It was HOT hot during my stay in mid-April and the room air conditioning worked well and kept me alive :)

The hotel was situated in the perfect location for us, we were facing the main road so needed ear plugs but the hotel itself & staff are great. The rooms were clean with fresh towels daily. We would definitely stay again. Lovely coffee shop next door 😁
