Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PhilippinesSome weird smell when entering the room. Maybe because it's a mixed room.
The bed is really comfortable.

Australiawhen I checked in the staff told me I couldn't eat in my room. which is fair enough if I was staying in one of the shared/dorm rooms but in my private room it didn't really make any sense. The kitchen space is locked during non-staffed hours which doesn't make sense if we are not allowed food in the room, so you have to be outside eating our meal. i had a little private garden area which I wanted to enjoy but there was a really bad stench in the back garden so sad about that. The place was great but so sad that its so far from everything. there's not much within walking distance
I stayed in one of the private rooms on the ground level; the room was spacious and clean. the staff were really nice as I got there around 11 am and they stored my bag for me until check-in time. It's a very quiet Hostel/co-living space which I enjoyed

United StatesIt was a little farther walk to family we were visiting that we’ve had before, but that wasn’t the fault of the hotel. We were still able to walk to our favorite areas of the city. There is no electric pot in the individual rooms for heating water for that first cup of morning coffee, but the kitchen accommodated that need. We didn’t need to use the free shuttle for the airport nor food service, but those were nice amenities
It was very clean and well maintained. The staff was helpful with the few questions we had. Being able to arrive after normal check-in hours due to plane arrival was smooth and quick. We loved our first floor room with private outdoor seating. Our favorite positive about the room was the mattress on the king bed that provided the most comfortable sleep of any mattress we have ever slept on in any of the countries we’ve visited where very hard mattresses are generally common. It was just right.

AustraliaNot a lot of general information for travellers
Super-clean, lovely rooms. Very quiet. The most comfortable beds we've had yet. Lovely staff and great common areas. A 20 min walk out of the main city area, which means it is quiet, which we particularly appreciated during the Lantern festival

United KingdomThe breakfast was not cheap for what was on offer (also did not start until 9am?) There is no where else close to the hostel that serves decent food. The reception opening hours seem rather odd (they close at 7pm) They charged me 100 baht for 1 basket of laundry which seems a bit much as other hostels do it for less
Nice place overall, the dorm room I stayed in was comfortable, good locker provided and the shared bathroom was like a luxury hotel. Really nicely decorated and clean.

Germanythe light would only work if you put the key card in. but that is only possible at the bed so if you had the bunk in the last corner that was annoying at night. saves electricity and money tho.
very clean and comfortable. it‘s also very close to the bus terminal which is a plus if you’re travelling. would not necessarily recommend if you want to stay in town.
