Very nice place with a beautiful view over the river. It was very quiet and the food was good. They also had some free activities which were fun to do! Also the staff was super friendly and helpful, even though they couldn't speak English very well.

We loved our stay at La Levee Resort. The views across a beautiful bend in the river with a backdrop of farmers fields and craggy mountain peaks were absolutely stunning. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, and the pool was gorgeous. Our room was well-appointed, spacious and comfortable. Even though it is a tent, it was very clean and kept cool by the AC. The included breakfast was very good and freshly prepared, and the on-site restaurant had delicious food at reasonable prices. We loved having all of our meals on the deck overlooking the river. There were fun activities included in the price that our family really enjoyed. These included a 30 minute ATV ride, a zip-line, wall climbing, and archery. The location was great. It felt quiet and remote, but there was plenty to do just a short drive away. If you would like to explore the surrounding area, it is very helpful to have a car. All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Amazing stay on the Kwai river. The room was very clean and spatious, with amazing view over the river (especially for sunsets). The personnel was very polite and helped with all the questions. I booked a kayak session as well in the morning, they organized it quickly and it was very nice. Highly recommend for a recharging yet quiet holiday

The steps leading down to the riverside pontoon were steep and potentially dangerous especially for older residents. Definitely they need to install a safety rail.

Great location and staff all very helpful. Food all good. A remote area but were still able to explore local restaurants and easily get to Konchanaburi.

The resort is located in a very beaitiful but remote part of Sai Yok and it may help to have your own car or organise the viewings of Erawan, Hellfire pass, museum and bridge ahead of your journey since the distances are quite big (1 or 2h drive from all).

Wonderful place for a family trip. The location is beautiful. The pool is fantastic, with several small areas for young children. The resort offers several activities to entertain kids ranging from 2/3 yo to 13. The “rooms” are basic but very clean and comfortable, and equipped with air filters. The staff is extremely nice and attentive. We will come back !

Love the resort and room deco design in the glamping concept. Great experience with the unlimited play of ATV, flying fox, archery, wall climb. The meals served as resort is delicious and home cooked style. Staff do understand basic english which is good enough. The view of the river is calming.

Avoid taking the unpaved road on the left side of the resort entrance when exiting, especially if you're driving a small car or motorbike. This path is challenging to navigate and better suited for four-wheel-drive vehicles. Be patient and understanding with the staff's limited English skills—they make up for it with their friendliness and willingness to help.

La Levée Resort is an excellent destination for families and children looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. While it is slightly distant from Kanchanaburi city, the resort's location is ideal for visiting key attractions such as Erawan Falls, Sai Yok Noi Waterfall (Khao Pang Waterfall), and Hellfire Pass. Additionally, it offers easy access to great restaurants in the area. The resort boasts a stunning scenic view that adds to its charm. However, the highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the staff. Their exceptional hospitality stood out, as they went out of their way to prepare Indian tea for us every morning during our four-day stay, making us feel truly at home. Food is really tasty and well prepared.

It was a bit too far from the main road. The only restaurant closed too early. The food was pricy and could be tastier. There were flies in the restaurant. The staff spoke very little English.

We stayed at La Levee for 2 nights. It was perfect, the staff was amazing, attentive and respected our wishes. They were always here at our service. The food at the bistro was delicious and the homemade ice cream was a highlight. The activities were included and we enjoyed ziplining, rock climbing, archery and quad biking. Bicycles were available free of charge to use. Our room, 102, had a beautiful view and had all the facilities we needed. Thank you to the staff at La Levee.

Away from the city Serene natural environment feels like we’re in The mountains with King Kong. The facilities- swimming pool and outdoor activities were in good condition. Well managed resort.

Unfortunately, we went during a time where there was A LOT of burning going on. At night, there was a wildfire (not sure if controlled) and the smoke got so intense and it seeped into the not-so-insulated glamping tents. The staff was apologetic (not their fault) and did everything to help ease the situation, bringing in air purifiers. They arranged a cab to come pick us up. Sadly we did not get to enjoy all of the activités, like Kayaking on the river, but again, this was just due to the time of the year. I would suggest doing some research on when burning season is and avoid it. Some people complain about the staff not speaking English, but they went above and beyond with translation apps and messaging on WhatsApp. Not a problem at all.

The setting is incredible. It is VERY remote, off a dirt road and on the River Kwai. The staff was very welcoming and attentive. The “glamping” style villas are so tastefully done and comfortable. They all sit on the hill overlooking the river and nature below. The food was great, and the pool was beautiful.
