Very convenient guest house at a practical location. The guesthouse is in a quiet area at the river, the beach is within a few minutes walk and it's a nice walk to the center 20-30 minutes. We got two rooms, both nice and well furnished, with a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable with perfectly clean sheets. WiFi was working reliably, AC was fine as well. We were happy to stay here and definitely come back again. It's a good value given the location and clean beds. We also went to the silver beach and coral cove beach, these were even better for the snorcheling. So was the Lamai beach at the point of the famouse rocks. Overall the island is fine, but very touristic, not very typical Thailand. Also taxis make a cartel and it's very difficult to get anywhere for a reasonable price. At least for arrival and departure we took the transport provided by the ferry company and that worked perfectly. For restaurants the situation is easy and you will find plenty of good options nearby. We particularly liked the Malee kitchen.

The owners were both lovely and friendly and helpful. The location is down a side street so it’s nice and quiet but close enough for a quick walk into the main areas and the beach. Lots of great restaurants all around. My room had a big bed and big bathroom. No complaints at all.

Nothing, it was great.

Great value for money, clean and good location. Not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle but not far to walk to the action. The staff were the highlight, the lady at reception was very nice.

Amazing little hotel! The front lady is so lovely always asking us if we want water or anything. The rooms are very spacious and the aircon is powerful. Everything was clean and the beds are comfy. It’s in a very good location there are many bars nearby and just a 15-20 minute walk from the busy areas. It’s tucked down a little side street so it is not noisy at night. We got our washing done and the next day I spilled yoghurt in my bag and the owner cleaned it again for free. Super cheap and great value for money. Thank you!

The woman in charge is very nice, big room, comfortable bed, shower pressure is good, big fridge, very good AC, the room was clean and inviting, located in a central area yet in a quiet alley which was great! The guest house is a 5 minute walking distance from Chaweng beach.

Staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they wanted you to feel comfortable and have a good trip. The area was surprisingly so quiet and we slept really well. The beds were comfy and the facilities were all working.

We had a lovely stay at Kluay Mai Guesthouse. The room was very spacious, clean, had good AC and a fridge which was a nice bonus. Our host was so friendly and helpful. Location is great only 5 mins walk to Chaweng beach and plenty of shops, restaurants and bars in walking distance. Would definitely recommend!

The first night the AC in the room didn’t work which meant we had a warm night. They had a bookings mess up so we also had to change rooms but that did solve the AC issue- more annoying having to pack up and move. Location is maybe a little far out, 15 mins to the beach & 25 mins to the centre.

The owner was amazing and really helpful. Room sizes were good and AC was great. Bathroom was clean and included toiletries. Big fridge in room and 7/11 only 5 mins round the corner. Very quiet at night which was nice.

No safe

Hostesss with the mostes , nothing is two much for them and they always smile and make you feel welcome and special. Good location to walk into town with plenty of restaurants and bars . This accommodation is what it is for what you pay . Clean but minimal, no TV, kettle or mini safe but it's priced to reflect that . It's ideal for a short stay hoping from place to place and i would definitely stay here again .
