Great bungalow, with big garden area and wrap around terrace. Everything cleaned and worked well. Shame we were only staying for 1 night. Would return, very peaceful area with good beach close.

It was very quiet and relaxing. Great gardens well taken care off. Living in Thailand myself I found here an oasis to relax and chill. No stray dogs around the area , haven't even seen garbage thrown away around here. The beach is clean and beautiful. Transportation would be useful. A car or you can rent a motorcycle at the resort. There are some good restaurants around (Cuisine Home) or just along the beaches and in Ban Krut.

Really great location, few minutes from the beach. We stayed in the two bedroom house and loved our stay. The hosts are incredible, offered to drive us to the market for the morning, and drove us to a beautiful beach nearby the following day. Lit us a barbeque one evening and even drove us to the train station after check-out. Great clean spacious rooms with access to a great shared kitchen. You will enjoy staying here a lot, I recommend renting a motorcycle and driving to the waterfall. Huge thanks to Kate and Eric!

Very nice stay, very friendly and accomodating hosts, super clean room and neat garden. All that for a reasonable price constitutes an unbeatable package. Very good and heartfully recommnded. Am always happy when a place with great reviews turns out to be exactly that - simply great.

The bed was a bit firm, but that’s normal for Thailand.

The property was wonderful, as was our room. The room was big, comfortable, and spotless. The bungalows are spread out across the property so there is a sense of space and green. The beach is a short walk down the hill on a small lane. There is a nice breakfast café just around the corner. Kate House is an excellent value and highly recommended. A scooter or rental car is a must in this area, but Kate House rents scooters at a very reasonable rate.

Eeriely quiet resort. No mosquito spotted, a first in thailand. Friendly, helpful and considerate hosts. Quite fully fitted bungalow, all windows with mosquito screens, outdrawn roofs gives good shadow also on terrace.

The house is accommodated in beautiful gardens in a green area close to the beach. You will need transport to get to the nearest town. There is a 7 11 not too far away. Khun Kate is very accommodating.

Everything is wonder. Thanks so much to Kate and Eric for warm welcome. Almost every day Kate treated us to fruits from her garden or something sweet. I've knew that fruits in Thai are tasty but Kate's fruits are sweet and delicious. If you don't know how to come from Bangkok just ask Kate. There is a train and bus so near but take into account schedule of bus or train. Last bus from airport is near 11 pm and train is is other location.

Not much, the beach is not great for swimming but clean enough and I swam.

Location to beach and dining/cafe places in easy walking distance and hardly any traffic. Very quiet, safe and friendly. Great accommodation in well kept area.

The road to the property is pretty dark & rough with lotta puddles. The property is a big compound with quite well design buildings and yard, but might need to do something with the tacky decor & mismatched furniture. There’s no electrical outlet in the bathroom or anywhere that we could use a hair dryer or shaver. What we dislike the most is the amount of big ants, lizards, mosquitoes, spiders and other bugs in the room.

Spacious room with huge bathroom. The owners are extremely nice and trying their best to accommodate us.
