One of the double beds in our room (we had a family hut which has 2 double beds) was rock hard and quite uncomfortable. We had to ask for extra pillows which the staff provided quickly but they couldn't do anything about the bed so the kids had to sleep on it as they are lighter. We only stayed 4 nights so it wasn't too bad and didn't spoil the break.

The hut we had was close to the beach. The resort was quiet and relaxing. The room and ensuite was nice and big. The breakfast was good but could have had more variety.

Breakfast wasn’t the best. Room needs some love here and there as it was a little neglected it felt in parts. Could have done with a lamp in the room too as only had the option of the main light which was extremely bright.

Location is good just by the beach, have everything you would need nearby. Big room and a big bed.

Breakfast is quite underwhelming, really something they need to work on, it's just not good enough. The overall feeling of the rooms (while they are not horrible) is that they are somewhat old and maybe some renovation should be necessary. As an example, there are only power outlets close to the tv which is far away from bed meaning you cannot really charge your phone or laptop while in bed. The shower is also quite difficult to use as you cannot hold it, it is static. Meaning that with some improvements, it can be quite a great place.

Location is very good. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach and once you get there in the morning it is quite magical as you get to see elephants taking a bath in the ocean. The staff is quite nice and helpful and they make sure to make you feel comfortable and at home. On this side no complains, the room is also quite spacious.

Cleaning staff are not very good. One young man in restaurant/ bar very miserable. Night manager although nice couldn't speak any other language so when the electric went out in the night he couldn't explain why even with Google translate. Bed was lumpy so they put on a mattress protector. Pillows were lumpy so I got another one it was ok. Warm water in shower not hot. No tea and coffee making facilities.

Reception staff were brilliant especially the young man and he went out of his way to help me. All the ladies that worked there very friendly.

The toom was basic but nice, a bath on the balcony was a nice surprise. Breakfast wasn't good and the bed not that comfy. We took the boat the next day so it was a great location for that.

The location. Hotel wa close to the beach and the Main Street with many shops and restaurants. I liked the staff, they replied to all our questions and helped us to organise trips and rent a car.

Air con in room was really noisy. The breakfast room was under our bedroom and so was very noisy from 7:30am. The chairs were dragging on the floors, maybe put some pads on the chair legs for future. Not the hotels fault, that I’m aware of, but a local elephant park ride the elephants past the hotel and into the sea closest to the hotel. We went to a different beach for this reason as we didn’t want to watch the elephants being ridden/exploited as it’s not relaxing. Also the elephants poo in the sea (not their fault), I saw a guide pick up the poo and put it in a bin bag, but might change your mind about having a swim!

Really good location in koh Chang. We went for a fancier room with a balcony, it was a real treat. The balcony had a bath and a large seat, it was lovely, got the sunset and sea view. Very clean, staff are friendly, beach towels on request from reception. Breakfast was also good. Fresh coffee at breakfast instead of instant would be icing on top of cake of otherwise a great brekky.

The Bungalow rooms could be updated

The breakfast was nice but could use more toasters & bigger coffee station. It was very busy the later you went. We started out a few nights in an older Bungalow room farther from the beach. The bed was hard & not very comfortable, the room a bit dark. We wanted to stay longer in this area & were able to add a night but had to move rooms. We were so glad that happened because we stayed above the reception/ restaurant building in a beautiful modern bright room with a super comfortable bed, big balcony with tub & papasan chair. Usually we prefer Bungalows & not the hotel style but we're so happy with this room. We had a view of the beach & could see the elephants walking by. The beach is a short walk away across the lot. Staff was very helpful & nice. They held our bags for a few days because we had to go to a different hotel so we could stay in the island longer.

A super resort with a nice wide beach that was visited daily by elephants. The surrounding area was very vibrant, which made for a great way to spend an evening. The resort itself quiet and this provided an opportunity to relax.

If there is something to complain about then: pillows were too hard, smell of dampness every time we got back to the room and walls were quite thin (we could hear everything).
