We loved Jade Cottages and had a gorgeous time there. It was an easy walk into Fisherman’s Village, plus there were some great little finds nearby, like My Cafe for food and the local laundry. The rooms were super comfy and lovely, quiet and spacious. Armanda and Thierry we very kind and helpful too, would definitely recommend. We chose Jade Cottages because it was a little off the beaten track, and we were not disappointed. The pool was lovely too!

It’s a little far out to walk out, so expect to either rent a car/scooter to get out, or to use Grab or a taxi/car service (THB350-400ish to Central Mall) to move around. There used to be a bistro, but it seems like it’s not operating at present. There’s an option for breakfast, but lunch, dinner, and other snacks are on your own. You can always order in via food delivery.

The day we arrived, Thierry and Armanda welcomed us so cheerfully and showed us to our place. It was large and welcoming, suitable for a couple to just rest and chillax. There’s a pool in the middle near the dining area (where breakfast is served). Clean, comfortable, and private; with warm hosts who went the extra mile to ensure a good stay. Breakfasts are great. Miss the American breakfast. There’s a bar fridge, microwave oven, and a kettle.

The Jade Cottages are located a short distance from the town- very handy for accessing bars and restaurants- yet the place is like stepping into a pristine oasis. The grounds are stunning, with excellent pool and outside shower facilities, a bar and the cottages themselves are immaculate. huge comfy beds, individual seating areas for each cottage (in addition to a large communal area) and all the mod con's anyone could ask for. We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect! The pool, the location, the staff, the bed, the shower, everything was amazing! We were welcomed with open arms to a very relaxed and chill place. We stayed 2 separate nights in between travelling but wish we had stayed longer as it was such a beautiful and relaxed place. We will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!

We like the quiet atmosphere for relaxation. The swimmng pool was clean and nice. We enjoyed the breakfast everyday. The owner of Jade Cottages and his wife were very friendly. They welcomed us in a very good way, and helped us a lot during our stay. We felt like we are at home.

Nothing we didn’t like but wish we booked more than 1 night.

Amazing couple greeted us and made us feel welcome from the very start. Wasn’t expecting much due to the price but was happily surprised. Beautiful cottage so lovely and clean. The breakfast was amazing sitting by the pool listening to the water fountain. So relaxing and a great start to our honeymoon.

Hosts and staff were super friendly and always around to help. Breakfast options were perfect. We loved this little oasis, located few minutes away from the busy streets. Our room was very clean, well-equipped and the highlight was the spacious balcony from which we often watched the tropical rain. We would definitely come back if we'll be around again

We travelled as a family of 4 and if any of the other guests had wanted to use the pool, there wouldn’t be enough sunbeds. It didn’t impact our stay but lights weren’t working in the dressing area of the bungalow and on our last night the light in the toilet stopped working. We realise mattress preferences differ for people so it is difficult to get it right for everyone but we found them a little hard for our liking. Also be prepared to get a taxi to get somewhere everyday, as Jade Cottages is up a pretty steep hill and there are no restaurants in walking distance, it wasn’t a big problem as we just made arrangement with a local taxi driver but it would be helpful if this was made a little clearer when booking, as on Google maps it looks closer than it is, so we hadn’t realised it wasn’t walking distance to Fisherman’s Village.

The owners are lovely and very helpful. The pool is a wonderful jungle oasis of calm which we pretty much had to ourselves Our bungalow (No 1) was lovely too and very private. The lovely owners are new only taking over this year and they have great plans for the place so I am sure this place will only get better.

We had a problem with out shower and taps when they turned on the squirted loads of brown gross water so that was quite off putting.

The pool was lovely! The room was clean and made nicely. The French couple who own the building were lovely when they greeted us. You very much fend for yourself as didn’t see any staff for the rest of our stay there.

The hosts are so nice and friendly really make you feel at home! The room is newly renovated and stunning, with a small communal pool really giving a nice touch. We loved this place and was great value for money! Would need a motorbike to get around koh samui from the accommodation, with hosts kindly giving us a hand to get one:)

We had booked months before our stay. We just had assumed we would be booked into one of the bungalows on the property, but we were given a room on the second floor of the main building. That room was just fine, but just a little disappointing that we were not in one of the bungalows. We are seniors, and the bungalows would have been preferred.

Paradise . A wonderful stay with Alain and his staff..A guest house type of property located a 25 minute walk from Fisherman's village. A taxi is around 300 baht to the center. Lovely fresh breakfast with good choices. A nice evening menu available. If you want total peace and quiet then this is for you. A limited number of sunbeds round the pool but we were the only ones to use them during our stay. Alain is always on hand for anything you need.
