NetherlandsFor a short stay in Hua Hin, it's a good option, within walking distance of the beach, night market, and restaurant streets. Rooms are basic but spacious and clean. Breakfast offers a simple selection of food, egg station and seasonal fruits.

United KingdomTrue that the hotel is starting to look a little dated in areas, but it is traditional Thai decor rather than bland corporate. The pool is not big but it is welcome for cooling off and usable unless you're an olympic athelete.
All of the staff are very helpful and went out of their way to help. We booked a suite with balcony which we only used for drying swimwear due to the heat Beds are big and comfortable. We booked additional bed for 7 year old and were not charged extra. Breakfast is reasonable, no restaurant for other meals but plenty of local options. Location excellent

ThailandThe main problem was that cars (probably customers at the restaurant next door) parked so close together that it was difficult to access the stairs to our room. When I complained to reception the car was moved and a no parking sign put up but the next day the sign had gone and the cars were back.
Great location - 5-6 minute walk to the beach and close to bar areas and restaurants. Despite its proximity to the bars, the hotel was nice and quiet. The room was fine although I wouldn't really call it a suite as there was no dining table or kitchenette. Breakfast was basic but tasty enough. Swimming pool was great - clean, long enough to swim lengths and reasonably shaded so not too hot. Staff were friendly but spoke little English.

GermanyWe originally booked a Superior room, but the outside air-conditioning units were a bit too loud for us, so we decided to upgrade to a Deluxe room.
Great location – restaurants and the beach are within walking distance, yet the area is quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. We first booked a Superior room, which was already comfortable, but the outside air-conditioning units (not our own) were a bit too loud. We decided to move to a Deluxe room for an extra 200 THB per night. The Deluxe room was only a bit larger, but it was quieter, so we could sleep better. Breakfast is simple European style, but has everything you need: fresh fruit, yogurt, cornflakes, toast, eggs in all variations, sweet pastries, one Thai dish and one Thai snack, plus coffee, tea, and juice.

ThailandArrived at the hotel between 2-3pm and was asked to wait 10 minutes for our room to be ready , 10 minutes turned into twenty minutes . we were shown to our room and it was still being cleaned . The Safety deposit box wasn't working and had to have the batteries replaced . but all in all a very enjoyable stay .
