We had a lovely stay at Hello My Friend. It’s a cozy, family-friendly hostel with everything we needed. We arrived very early in the morning before the reception opened, but we had received clear and helpful instructions in advance on how to access our room. Everything went smoothly. The family room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a huge double bed and a bunk bed, which was perfect for our needs. The location is great too, just a 10-minute walk to Khaosan Road, yet in a quieter area. Taxis and transport were easy to arrange for anything further out. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for a relaxed and welcoming place to stay in Bangkok.

If I had to find a flaw, probably I'd say a few more tables and chairs in the outdoor area. There were only two and they were almost always occupied. Also, a bit more fruit variety for breakfast wouldn't hurt. But overall we are very satisfied.

Almost everything. We loved the minimalist style of the hostel, its cleanliness and the friendly staff. The location was also outstanding: quiet neighborhood, but just a few minutes off Khao San Rd.

Everything! Good location in a chill neighborhood, super clean hostel with a pool and a kitchen to cook. The rooms are spacious and have big lockers. Really friendly staff and really helpful! Six months travelling and I felt like home. Gonna be my hostel for Bangkok everytime for sure!!

Literally nothing. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. A+

Comfy beds with curtains, plugs, etc. and decent pillows. Excellent AC. Excellent location. Excellent common areas. Free food in the kitchen. Very friendly and easy staff. Swimming pool. Good showers. Excellent culture of quiet at nighttime. Excellent culture of the staff leaving guests alone and not coming in to clean the rooms while people were sleeping etc.

I'll just say that I didn't come with many expectations, but I was surprised, it's like in the photos, the staff was excellent and friendly, and it was clean, I would come back every time. I liked it, it also has a pool ☺️

Fantastic Hostel in a great location...a great base for exploring Bangkok. Clean modern facilities, small and quiet and comfortable, and very clean! Really felt like a family hostel, home away from home, lovely friendly staff. Free tea, coffee, bread, and a few other basics, and always a bowl of fresh pineapple in the fridge, bananas and mangoes. The pool was a much appreciated bonus! Highly recommend staying at the Hello My Friend Hostel!! 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

No lift, so you’ll have to climb one flight for group stays and 2-3 flights for private rooms. If you plan to take Grab, they often cancel after a 10-15 min wait as it is a couple of streets off the main roads. We walked 5 min to Nouvo Hotel and would get picked up right away with no cancels. It is also not close to the main public transit lines.

Nice self serve breakfast with fruit available all day long. Lots of hot water. Staff were lovely. Place was clean. Cutest deep pool. Great to just be in to cool off.

everything about this hostel is fantastic! The kitchen area is always topped up with food, and the host makes sure fresh fruit is chopped and available for everyone. rooms and comunial areas are extremely clean.the pool is spotless, and perfect for a dip.

This hostel/hotel has a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful and it has a superb breakfast bar - stocked with delicious freshly sliced pineapple. A slight downside was that the urinal in the shared bathroom was broken and really stank but these things sometimes happen.

The beds were a little bit too hard and the room was very dark.

It's a newly built property in a really nice neighbourhood, not too close to the main Khao San road, so you get peace and quiet. but it's not too far away from it, so you can still walk to it, albeit in about 15 minutes. The pool is small, so not made for swimming, but it's still a welcome addition to the property, for it allows you to cool down after a day's walk. The self-help kitchen works out really well even if you know just basic cooking.

Everything!People of the hostel welcomed us with a smile, they showed every amenity here and they always had in mind us to be comfortable and happy.Although we had a shared bathroom, it was very clean with new facilities.The room was super clean and comfortable.They even have a space outside to hang your laundry. Breakfast included, with so many things to eat.

Really lovely staff who helped us with other travel items above and beyond. Pool and kitchen really good. The room was perfect for us too, big, clean, cosy. Shower hot and powerful. Great location.
