The resort is located on the top of one of the mountains nearby the airport. The villa has also sea-view and airport-view and thanks to the big balcony glasses we could admire both from the bed. Every resort has its own roof terrace so it was very unique to sitting above the city and listening to the sound of the jungle around us. The villa was very clean, and the whole place was full of the beautiful hand made flowers by the lady. The home made breakfast was extraordinary, we got traditional thai meal with fresh fruits. The owners were extremely friendly. Happy Mountain Airport Resort is your place if you want to be far from the busy city life but you want to get back quickly or you search for a close place to the airport.

There are quite a few stray dogs on the road up to the property, so consider renting a bike if you haven't got your stamp n stare technique down

Family run and very sweet environment! You can't beat the view! Each room has a lovely balcony in front and on top of it. Incredibly relaxed environment, which is so welcoming after spending the day in the chaos and traffic that is Phuket. Very close to the airport, but not so much that the planes are any sort of disturbance. Very comfortable!

It was very far up a mountain which made it hard to get to and from the bottom where the beach/restaurants ect were but we managed and it was only for one night.

The owners were absolutely amazing, the villa was spotless and couldn’t fault it at all. The owners even offered to take us to the airport the next morning

Was a little out the way, if you plan on staying here for more than one night make sure you rent a scooter as taxis don’t have a clue where it is. literally up a very steep hill and the location on google maps take you to the bottom of the hill. Had to use booking.com address to find the place.

Staff (family) were amazing, very helpful. took us to the airport at 11pm at night. We only booked this hotel so we could have it for a few hours to wash and relax before our flight. was perfect for this.

Staff were super lovely and helpful, they took us to the airport, washed our clothes for us. Always made sure we were okay. Didn’t speak much English but that was okay. Room was nice lots of ants but Is to be expected when in the mountains around trees.

The Wi-FI signal is bad, I needed to go on the roof or into the restaurant area to work. Be ready for a lot of geekons inside your villa, they would love to get into your food or garbage. It wasn't a problem for us, we knew that we are in a jungle :), just be prepared. It would be great if the hotel build a swimming pool and had the bike rent. We lived for 6 days, and there was no cleaning in the villa (but maybe not supposed to?), but the host lady changed the towels for us. There was no place to throw out the trash, and we had to keep it for all 6 days. A lot of wild dogs at the road to the villa (there is only one road there actually). Every time we were walking by or riding a bike there, they were barking and chasing us. It was VERY scary, but still nothing to do with the hotel itself.

You are basically at the top of a mountain with sea, city and aircraft takeoff/landing view at the same time. Incredible view! Sunsets are roof-bearing and you have the 1st row seats to the show. The stars are clearly visible at night with all this jungle sounds ♡♡♡ if you have a bike it's not a problem at all to get there. Also the sound of airplanes is almost inaudible, and inside the villa you can’t hear it at all. Great restaurant! Quite pricely compared to those in the city, but very delicious. My friend who lives in Phuket for almost 2 years said that it was the most tasty Tom kha kai she ever tried at Thailand. The restaurant and hotel are owned by the same family, they are very friendly and generous. Considering how noisy Phuket is and how many people and traffic jams are, here you look at everything from above in silence. If you want to live in the unique place with lifetime memories and living on the first coastline is not priority for you, this hotel is the best choice at Phuket!

You'll need a moped if you want to go anywhere other than this tranquil place. The dog in the dip did chase us once but we're told it's just for fun. Would have liked a kettle in the room as we're English and need tea!

One of 5 separate villas with rooftop private decking on top of a hill with amazing views. Very quiet. Friendly and helpful owners and staff. They arranged a moped (250THB/day) for us which was the best one we've had all month and it was delivered 30 minutes later courtesy of Bee. We had (very strong) coffee at the restaurant in the mornings and received a big plate of fruit with it. The food was good but go careful with your spice level! Great aircon. Very clean. Good shower. Big fridge.

Someone else was driving when we arrived, and I was happy it wasn't me driving. It's quite steep with tight switchbacks, but the road is good.
