How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There is no attention to the environment: there is no sorting of waste, there is no possibility of refilling drinking water, not even for a fee. Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper, the location is in front of a very busy road.
It's only 15 minutes walk from the airport and 10 from the beautiful Naiyeng Beach, close to a local market and several restaurants and with a 7/11 almost in front. The staff is very friendly, even if not very knowledgeable about the place (like where you can rent a bike). Very nice structure, everything new, well decorated, clean, especially the bathrooms. Very pleasant the rooftop, where you can find also the kitchen. Small room but with very comfortable beds, equipped with curtains and a small safety box for valuables, efficient air conditioning.

Staffs are very friendly, Interior Design is comfy and chic, Rooms are quite and spacious. Location wise, next to the old town of Phuket, which means quite and convenient.

This hostel is very convenient to everything. Walking distance to the airport, beach, shops and restaurants around. Very friendly and accommodating staff, clean toilet and room. Also, comfortable bed.

stated walking distance from airport on previous reviews but found this stressful as was alone and late at night so got taxi. stairs were steep to climb. rooms were small but this reflected the price so was acceptable. would definitely stay again if had an early flight
stayed for one night after had a long travel from UK to phuket, was cheap for one night. Place was clean, the room i stayed in was quiet, had a place to eat downstairs which was open early. Had good air-con, was close to airport. Close to the beach which was stunning!!!

The aircon in our room was leaking for the whole stay but staff were very attentive about the problem and offered us another room!
Good location for airport, and still really close to beach which is a bonus, also had netflix in our room which as a backpacker was an incredible blessing

Overall, the facilities seem a bit exhausted, including the shower, but it's completely fine if you remember the price and the fact that it's a hostel. I think I saw some weird insects in the common toilet but then again the hear might have got me confused. I definitely wouldn't want to stay there longer than a couple of days, though.
The room was tiny but had the chair and the table with clothes hooks in the wall. The bathroom on our floor was big and never crowded, even though the small number of people really had issues with keeping it clean after each other. The owner was really nice and helpful: after my friend got sick, the owner suggested a hospital to go to and also offered to call an ambulance, if needed (it wasn't needed, we managed without the hospital). It was great to see how helpful they were! Also, the hostel is pretty close to the airport, and while being pretty far away from famous beaches, it's pretty close to the route of the Airport Bus that will take you down to the most famous Phuket Beaches (we took one, it was a long but cheap ride). There are a few cafes around.

The main road next to the hostel is very noisy.
It’s clean hostel with comfortable beds. The walk to the beach is okay also at night. Walking distance to the airport.

Shower in our dorm was blocked which was shame. I didn’t have key from the main gate that was locked over night.
Clean, comfy bed. Room wasnt noisy at all like someone mentioned. Location. Value for the money.

I wish there was a pool but didn’t need it. This is the best hostel in Phuket for value
The staff, the beds and linens were comfortable and clean. Thank you amber for being so kind and lovely. This is the best accommodation in Phuket by far I stayed in. Lovely common area. Roof top with a great view. I will be back

Nothing. It was a really nice place to stay.
Amazing find. 10 minute walk from the airport. Loads of food stalls nearby, plus 7/11 supermarket. 10 minute walk to Nai yang beach. Curtains around bed for privacy . Lovelly roof terrace and outside seating where you can bring your own food back.
