AustraliaThe massive pool could benefit from a shade sail over a section of it
First Bungalow Beach Resort ⛱️ offered a quiet stay very close to all the action on Koh Samuis best beach. We had a private stand alone waterfront( 2nd row but with waterview) cabin right near the beach bar and restaurant . The beautiful gardens were well tended and more are being planted. The view from the restaurant at breakfast each morning overlooking Nth Chaweng Beach the rocks and colourful fishing boats was superb. We can highly recommend its position and value for money

AustraliaThe room was noisy from adjoining rooms. The furnishings were tired and only one chair on the balcony. The upstairs room airconditioning was not sufficient for the heat. The resort is very family orientated and there were a large number of children so the pool noise was extensive.
The resort is in a very good location at the quiet end of Chaweng Beach. In fact is has its own beach with sunbeds and umbrellas at no charge to guests. The beach is clean and the water also. The resort also has a large pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. A variety of accommodation types is available. The breakfast is extensive and is located in a large restaurant overlooking the beach. The room had its own balcony overlooking the pool with ensuite bathroom.

United KingdomThe restaurant didn't have any fans on at breakfast so I was constantly boiling whilst trying to eat. There is no entertainment/anything to do in the evenings, the pool is not well lit after the sun has gone down so you are forced to go out which is a shame.
The pool was lovely and being so close to the beach was perfect for us! The breakfast had a good range of options, the omelette bar was great! We had a standard room which is advertised as not having any windows, what it does have is a balcony off the bathroom. We were lucky enough to be on the top floor and had a nice view from ours but some of the rooms just looked onto the wall of the building opposite.

Lovely resort at the end of Chaweng Beach. Quiet location with access to two beaches. Restaurant overlooks a beach and fishing boats. Pool is large and the grounds are well landscaped.

AustraliaFirst impressions are furniture and rooms are in need of an update and exterior could do with a paint to freshen things up.
On the beach, and great pool area with plenty of sun lounges. We had two deluxe rooms (late teenage kids) and had rooms overlooking the pool. Location is great as not right in the middle of Chaweng but close enough to walk or short drive. Mini mart, scooter hire, laundry and a couple of good cafes (B4 Beach) 2 minutes walk. Very clean and breakfast adequate, good value for money.

This is our second time staying at First Bungalow Beach Resort and we absolutely loved the beach bungalow. Being beachfront and enjoying the sunshine and ocean is divine. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The bed was sooo comfortable and room service food was yummy. We love staying here and will be back again for sure.

United KingdomThe only thing that I would have liked is more shade around the pool. There were some umbrellas but a lot had been put down with no base we could find. There were also a lot of empty sunbeds with just towels on.
Great location at a quiet end of Chaweng, which was welcome after the overwhelming busy main stretch. Nice clean beach (clear waters for snorkelling) with sunbeds and parasols, no traffic noise day or night. Great selections of foods and fruits and breakfast, buffet-style so you can go back for more if needed. Water bottles replaced in rooms every day, laundry place and ATM on the street in front of the entrance. Fantastic value.

The location was great, right on the beach and just a short ride to the bars/restaurants in Chaweng. Also with some restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel restaurant and breakfast was also good. The staff were super friendly and the beach bungalows were perfect for two. AC works very well.
