Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeJust one comment. The water runoff to the floor trap in the shower is very slow.
It's a cafe restaurant and modern accommodation place. The decor of the cafe restaurant and our 4 bedded moon room is fantastic and Instagrammable. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They have wonderful Singha beers, coke and soda as complimentary beverages in the room. Need to inform staff if you are driving so that arrangement for parking can be made, otherwise parking along the main street is easy. They also have a small shop selling reasonably priced craft works. We bought 4 wood crafts.

SwitzerlandI didnt find the bed mattress, nor pillows particularly comfortable. The one day we would have eaten a meal their kitchen was closed, sadly. The lock for the entry gate to the hotel itself was not working, which was a shame, but no issues during our stay.
Functionally this worked well on every level, which is a real bonus when 2 plus 2. Great location. Clean, well enough equipped, a fridge with water, beer, coffee making facilities. It was good to have proper large products in the bathroom and sink for use, not more disposable plastic. We had coffees and snacks only but not proper food, which was an omission on our part, as food looked great. We made plans like a cookery course from their recommendations.

We loved this place! We stayed for 6 nights - a very convenient yet very quiet location. Breakfast (if it’s part of your booking) is excellent. The room was perfect with nice outdoor shady space. Free snacks and drinks in the room was a lovely touch. The owner was very pleasant, friendly and helped us when we first arrived with a rucksack that had been left in a taxi from the airport - within 30 mins we had it delivered to us while dinking an excellent cup of coffee in the coffee bar.

Hong KongHaha Not enough space for me to hang up 13-days’ worth of outfits!
Its coziness!! The above picture is the exact room I stayed in!! It felt like a home away from home! This boutique hotel is tucked away in the middle of the Old Town. Excellent location for me to explore and experience the Old Chiang Mai city! The place is only a short strode from the Sunday night market but it’s still quiet in my room! I stayed 8 days in total but love to come back again, i.e. if there’s any room available. Did I say it’s a very clean place there? I can definitely see how much love and care the owners have into this hotel!!

Malaysia- No real breakfast options at the hotel, but there are many restaurants nearby
- The old school charm of this city hotel - The Moon Room we stayed in had an attic - Great location in the heart of the Old City (There were 4 bars right outside the hotel with live bands on a Friday night) - Easy parking for our car (not easy to find in the old city)

SingaporeGreat hospitality - They went above and beyond when my friend left his laptop behind before leaving for the airport. The laptop was hand delivered personally and we were really touched by this gesture. Convenient location as we had local food easily accessible and in the midst of the area for the Sunday Night Market too. Great coffee available too!

AustraliaWe stayed in two hotels in Chiang Mai. This one had no pool and no laundry/ bag wash service. The rooms were lovely though. Very modern. The staff were lovely - there really wasn't anything we didn't like. The coffee is not the most amazing, if you care about your coffee - Twenty Mar cafe is a five minute walk away.
The breakast was great, with a Western option. Location easy and walking distance to several temples, food options and shopping. Clean rooms and bathrooms. If you are elderly let them know in advance as there are upstairs rooms and no lift. Not a problem for our group but a consideration for others.
