Easy check-in process - reception was closing at 10pm and they waited till 10.10pm for me to arrive - notified via WhatsApp Comfortable bed and well ventilated in the room Heater is working fine and I'm happy :) Common area is spacious with lots of books around.

Private room can be pricey for long stay, but very comfortable.

Tasty breakfast curated by staff and the owner who brews up a wickedly delightful assortment of freshly baked bread and jams and acoutre mal.

I stayed in this hostel for 1 month. That's how good it felt. It really feels like home. There's a great atmosphere, you can cook, chill out on the sofas, read (large library), watch a movie on the big TV, have coffee on the top-floor balcony... Superbly located, with the bts and Mrt nearby. 7 eleven and other supermarkets. Silom is a fun, lively neighborhood. In short, I recommend you stay at this hostel 😉

Staircase up to the 5th floor — not suitable for those with big luggage. The kitchen is always occupied; but the sharing concept is great and people really enjoy it like their own home, perhaps you should either join them or give up the idea of self-cooking. (HAHA)

It was homey, like a little union with every kind of people around the world. There are different choices of public spaces to either let you spend time alone or hang out with others. The BTS station was just nearby — very convenient location. The check-in and check-out, they made it simple, friendly, and straightforward. House rules are clear. The space was harmonious and cozy because everyone respects the boundary. The breakfast seems nice, too bad I missed the chance to try it.

I think the bathrooms could do with a little more TLC & deeper cleaning.. Other than that the hostel is great!

I liked the location, and the staff were so chilled and helpful. It’s also quite a cosy hostel yet still social (not a party hostel) so I feel like you can make friends easily there. I also loved how they make their own bread for breakfast in the mornings!

The storage in the room is mostly designated areas under the bunkbeds, so not easy and clean to get to. The bathrooms were quite dirty.

Great hostel. The shared spaces are phenomenal exactly as pictured but there's even more of them. Front porch and also little concrete 'backgarden' for smoking. Some cool people. Mark (staff) is great and helped me out when I arrived late. Location is great, right by Silom with lots of gay clubs (GOD is crazy, and Banana Room is a fun show) . Around the corner from the local bus station. Great vibe at this hostel.

The ruski asshat woke people up in the night, the asshole who thought it was a good idea to turn the light on at 2am. The Indian who took a shit in the dorm instead of the hallway facility.

The tv room, most guests who stayed at the time were reasonable with following the rules, the books man the books!

I love everything but curtain at Bunk Beds are made of synthetic material, though they are excellent for the privacy they make sleeping area hot sometimes.

Even though it’s literally on the name, I had no idea it was a hostel when I was booking 🤡 so flip-flop thing was a real flop for me lol. It’s inconvenient but still manageable.

Mark is the coolest and the most helpful.. I met the most amazing people there, vibes were immaculate 😌 Also location is perfect, you don’t have to worry about transportation and there are a lot of cool places to see or eat nearby in walking distance.

Best hostel i’ve stayed in South East Asia. The staff is super kind and helpful and they have really thought about small details like filtered tap water, free tea and coffee and even little fans by your bed. The energy of this hostel is very unique and peaceful, you will never feel alone or lonely but also can have as much of your private space as needed. Thank you David and the staff xx

The cleanliness & maintenance does require a bit more manpower and diligence. Squeaky doors and hinges make it hard to be quiet during the night. AC in the main (grey) room is not powerful enough, the temperature does not go below 25-26. For bigger people who run hot this might be problematic. The mattresses on a scale from 1 (super soft) to 10 (like hardwood floor) would be around 7 and 9. Depends which one you get, they are not all the same. Being closer to the door means that you will get woken up in the middle of the night. Cleaning could be better, especially the locker spaces. Bangkok is notorious for this... there are many stairs to climb to get to the rooms. Washrooms. Leaky plumbing in shower heads. Poor water heating in some showers, some heaters don't even turn on. Mosquito nets on the windows might help. Next to the room, where the towel racks are, I would love to see some sort of an organizer (akin to the shoe rack, but smaller sized) for bathroom stuff. Otherwise, I need to enter the room in the middle of the night & find the things in pitch black. Extra opening of the doors is not convenient for people trying to sleep. I could just go to bed earlier, I know. The kitchen. No freezer. Knives are fairly dull. The water filter location is semi-satisfying. On one hand, if you place it in the kitchen, you will always have a congested kitchen, on the other hand, extra inconvenient to wash vegetables or fruits for cooking. If possible, have two filters. I am smart with spending other people's money like that. The kettle is great for Chinese tea ceremonies, but horrible at boiling more than a few cups of water. To fill my 2L thermos it takes 3 kettles of wait time. And you cannot leave because the kettle draws too much power and breaks the circuit from time to time. Would love to see hand towels in the kitchen. If the cleaning rags can get washed & replaced bi-daily it would be a big difference.

Lots of things done right here. As you enter, you get your own personal space for shoes/flip-flops. The atmosphere & setting creates good vibes for conversations, get together's and activity on the first floor. For those who love privacy, you can also find a solo/secluded spots on the 2nd floor & the top floor. The top floor also gives you a chance to binge on TV, do yoga (there are mats) or sit back on the balcony & enjoy the "scenery". This room is not as occupied as one would expect. Probably climbing all the stairs is the discouraging factor. The bathrooms are joined toilet & shower units which is extra convenient for getting in and out of the shower butt naked ;). Outside the door room you get a numbered (by bed #) space to hang the towel. Unfortunately, the hooks are flimsy, so you cannot hang anything else there other than a towel. The beds have plenty of plugs and USB (A, C type), there is a small fan and a light too. As an extra convenience there is a pouch hanging on top of the bed where you can put your phone, face mask, earplugs, whatever else. Wonderful bonus! The space underneath the bed is the length of the bed, I am not sure if it would fit a 25kg suitcase height-wise, but definitely enough for two 15kg ones & something else. Eh? you still reading this? The kitchen area and dining area have enough space for eating and work. The fridge is massive, so you don't have a feeling like you need to fight for every inch of space in it. There are plenty of organizers for people to use if they have food that does not need refrigeration. There is a water filter. Salt and pepper are present. Plenty of utensils to cook with. The kitchen area is also far away from the sleeping area, so you don't need to keep it on a hush level after hours. Breakfast is not great in terms of variety, but amazing as most of it is made in-house (peanut butter, bread, jam). All that is left is getting a cow & churning some butter.

The mattresses are hard unfortunately. Though I managed to survive for two nights 😅

Honestly, this hostel has so many facilities like hundreds of interesting books, ps5, big tv with Netflix and is really worth the money. And David was super lovely and helpful ☺️ The hostel is not the typical social hostel but if you’re at the table it will be super easy to talk to people there.
