I really liked the place — it’s right in the center, the beds are comfortable, everything is clean and tidy. The atmosphere is original and artistic. In the mornings there are always some snacks, and you can also enjoy tea. The host is very friendly and welcoming. Only the best impressions!

The owners, Chiza and Jackie are two of the kindest people we have met on our travels around SE Asia! We’ve stayed with them 5 times now, 18 days in total and would stay even longer if we could. Last time we stayed, my boyfriend left a jacket there and Chiza had it washed and kept it safe ready for our return! It truly feels like home - they are so welcoming and attentive throughout your stay. They provide a snack table with tea, coffee, water, fruits and biscuits and will pick things up from the local markets and stalls for you to try. The dorms are incredibly clean and comfy with everything you need and they provide all the amenities in the bathroom.

Chiza and her husband were so kind and welcoming in every way. They both gave such good recommendations of local events and markets. Not only this but they also gave me some sticky rice as well as a lovely tote bag on my departure. The location was ideal! I booked a bed in a six bed dorm for both nights and I had it all to myself! I couldn’t recommend this property highly enough and I would love to return in the future😊

Nestled in the heart of old town, this warm and welcoming hostel is perfect for solo or small group traveler’s. A 5 minute walk from the weekend market, this was thr perfect place to explore the city and the wider area. The hosts were so welcoming and offered expert advice and recommendations. 5/5!

The hostel owners were extremely sweet and very helpful. I felt so welcome and look forward to coming back again the next time I am in Chiang Mai! The beds with curtains felt very private, there was plenty of space to lock up bags, the room and bathroom was clean. The shared space in the entrance was always occupied by some guests making it easy to socialize and meet new people as you walked in and out or got coffee/tea/water in the morning. Each day the host had put out some new snack to try. I LOVED my stay here.

Chiza Hostel is one of my favorite places after travelling for 3,5 months. It’s warm, it’s homey, the people who stay radiate the same energy which the two hosts show everyday. Cheeeful, welcoming, helpful they really make sure you feel home at Chiza hostel. It’s not a resort, nor a party hostel, but a place where i felt at home and came back a second time just for vibe!

Chiza and Jackie are the kindest hosts you could ask for! They go above and beyond to welcome you and help you during your stay. They won’t let you go hungry and even have a little table filled with tea, coffee and snacks! I fell over during our visit and Chiza cleaned up my knees and even treated them with ointments. We extended our stay in Chiang Mai and went straight back to Chiza’s as we felt so at home! They truly are your parents away from home❤️ We will be back!

The stay at Chiza hostel was lovely! It is a familiar atmosphere with basic and clean facilities in a great location! The hosts are so welcoming and I was able to check-in late after texting them. They also shared great tips and gave me a bag from the shop as a souvenir when I had to leave. Would definitely stay there again!

I loved it - Chiza and Jackie were the best!

Chiza and Jackie were the nicest hostel hosts we encountered, they had such a friendly attitude and were willing to help with any questions or concerns we had. They had such welcoming personalities, and provided fresh fruits and local snacks each morning for the guests. The hostel was in an excellent location, walking distance from many attractions. The hosts made this experience in Chiang Mai very memorable - will definitely return to this hostel if I’m back.

Incredible hosts, the most kind, sweetest people ever who would go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. They treat all of their guests like family and truly care for you. Location meant you could walk pretty much anywhere. A very friendly hostel making it easy to meet other solo travellers. I will be back!

Chiza and her husband are really kind people and very open and caring to the guests who are staying with them. We were talking about a herbal Thai mosquito spray and then her husband went to the shop and bought us some! So kind and generous in spirit! It really is a home from home and they have a lot of information about good places to eat/go/tours ect. There's a small communal área as you walk in with a large fridge, microwave, free coffee and fruit and snacks! Chiza came back one day with CurryPuffs for everyone! I can see why people go back to stay with them and i will be when i next visit Chiang Mai and will recommend staying here to my friends/family/other travellers!

the locations not the best, it’s a bit of a trek to walk everywhere. if you’re ok with spending on grabs or walking long distances then would consider. there is a really nice khao soi restaurant a couple minutes away though, and a coffee shop in the hostel.

It’s a great location, with very comfortable rooms. Most of all the hosts Chiza and Jackie, are very warm, welcoming and helpful, surprising you with little gifts. their hostel attracts good people too!
