We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyThe air conditioning in the living room did not provide the required performance and needed support from the air conditioning in the bedroom. If the flat is occupied by 4 people, the tableware is short.
The flat is very nicely furnished. Apart from the usual coffee powder and soap, there were numerous other things, such as insect repellent spray, many and large bottles of mineral water.

South AfricaLots of stairs. Not an issue usually bit we traveled with a crawling baby so we were permanently on guard at the stairs.
The owner has though of every detail to make a really comfy stay with all mod cons. I especially liked the owners decor. The house was full of art and sculptos and interesting items. French art and lots of War art. An amazing lamp and a big paper mache pig.

CanadaThere were a few minor annoyances, mostly a lot of ants in the room which forced me to hide the leftover food containers in the fridge. It did not bother me too much. Also the wifi was not very fast.
Fantastic location in walking distance of most points of interest and Pom was a great friendly host. The room had everything I needed and there was a 24h 7/11 right next door for snacks. I recommend their iced matcha green tea.
