The receptionist were kind, but their job is also when they show me my room also have to tell me how to get hot water. After 2 nights I wanted to stay more days but they didn't give me much discount, other places gave more. And after booking more days, they did not tell me that I had free breakfast, I heard that on my last day with a smile on his face again. I was very upset because my money was running out. The workers need to do their job and not only smiling. The shower head splashes only one way straight to your face. And the smell from the drain in the shower was teribble.

Bed was clean and good, I like hard bed, thats everywhere in thailand almost. Good Air-conditioning. Good window Enough light in the room. Also lights next to your bed very comfy. I could sleep very well. There is only one party car who pass by thats the only very noisy in the street.Enough towels and everyday clean towel.

It is a budget hotel so dont expect much of the rooms. No lift. The room had a strange smell

Great breakfast with made to order omelette. The location is good, close to many restaurants and a 7/11. Just an FYI that the pool/restaurant/reception are in the other hotel at the other side of the street. The pool is nice, didn't really get to enjoy the beach because it was storming almost every day.

The water jet in the shower and toilet is very weak, but this is quit normal. Also the toilet has very weak. We had issues but the staff immediately fixed everything. There is no staff in the reception, but you have all you need in Cove Beach.

This is a budget hotel, so do not expect luxury, but as their guest, you are given full access to their other hotel Chaweng Cove Beach, located just across the street with private beach, pools, gym, restaurant with beach view where you have a great breakfast buffet with a wide offer of food, both European and Thai food is served. They serve coffee from coffee mashines (cappuccino, latte, espresso, americanino, and chocolate etc) Liked this coffee more than the coffee served in the bar/restaurant. We stayed in a standard room on 3rd floor (no elevator) looking at the street. I expected big noise from the traffic but this part of Chaweng is not so crowded and therefore much calmer. There was no problem to fall asleep. Room has refrigerator, new A/C which works silent. TV with satelite channels, Bed was comfortable, maybe a bit too soft for my need. Pillows are too big and too filled for my taste. Linen was very clean. Big bathroom with all toiletteries needed are offered, toothbrushes, soap, schampoo and shower gel etc... Towels for the room changed everyday if needed + towels for the beach (change on request). Daily cleaning and refill of 2 bottles of water, Nescafe + tea for the kettle. Wardrobe with bathrobes, umbrellas, slippers (used). Safe available. Hotel offers laundry, per kg is 70 Baht for wash/dry, and and 90 Baht for wash/dry/iron. Scooters available for rent at Cove Beach Resort and you can park scooters there also. Great staff and cleaning. Breakfast is really great. All area is clean and well maintained. Sunbeds and parasol is free on the beach for the guests. 7Eleven, Pharmacy, ATMs just outside the hotel.

The bathroom is a little outdated

The room was clean, new, and the bed super comfy. One of the best places I’ve stayed in Thailand. I loved I could use the facilities of the resort (swimming pool, gym, restaurant). The resort is right on the beach, which is very nice! Quality price ratio for high season in Thailand is the best deal, there isn’t any other place with this quality for this price.

Next to the pool was reconstruction of a new restaurant when we were there so it was not so convenient to spend relax time at the pool but it is understandable. One of the nights was very loudy because of the people who came very late from the city centre.

The equipment was clean. The equipment was modern, clean. The pool was fine. The breakfast was very delicious, wide selection of food. I can recommend this accomodation.

The location is not as good as expected. It's still far from the decent spots in Chewang. Basic rooms. For some reason, the management thought it was a good idea to have painters paint the building, right outside the windows at 8:00am.

It's good that you get to use the facilities at the hotel across the road.

For the price we paid, no complaints. You can't expect 5 star facilities at that price rate, room was certainly comfortable and bathroom was more than sufficient.

Location was great, out of the hustle but not too far to walk maybe 20min a long beach. Budget hotel itself is very basic as the name suggests, but main hotel is pretty much right there which has great facilities.

There are a few quirks here and there. But in general, nothing worth mentioning

Initially booked the budget room due to the main hotel fully booked. But on the day of my arrival, there are vacancies and asked for an upgrade to superior double room in the main hotel. But first briefly about the budget room. I read one day before, a lot of negative reviews about it. And it seemed to be consistent across different websites. However, on the day of my arrival, what I experienced was the complete opposite. The service was perfect: bathroom was fine, WC was working, shower is not separated between cold and hot (takes time to heat up but works), the driver that picked me up from the airport, helped with my luggage (I did not even touch it ever since the airport until I was in my room). The only thing that is true: nobody in the reception of the budget hotel. But the main hotel is across the street, so should not be a problem. Now, I was lucky that there was 2 free rooms that day, and I chose the superior double room. Again, the same guy helped me with the luggage. Crossing the street again, and brought it to the new room. Before I made my decision, they allowed me to look into the rooms as well. So no complain from my side 😁 The breakfast is super. They have balanced variety of foods. And what is important for me is that they uphold the authenticity of Thai foods. They made it spicy when it is supposed to be spicy. So thumbs up for that! 👍 Please keep it like this. Do not dilute the recipe only to please those who cannot eat spicy. The bar, pool , and the beach are superb! Some of my colleagues stayed in other hotel along the same line as Chaweng but they complained that the water was super hot and no waves. Here at this place, everything is perfect! I swam in the morning, during the day, until afternoon. Watched the sunrise multiple times as well. The thai massage is gentler and bearable compared to the one I had in Bangkok. The masseuse are all very nice and experienced. Combined with the sea breeze, it was like a relaxing afternoon nap.

No staff in the hotel (only in the neighbouring hotel) someone sitting outside the hotel had to tell us where to check in

Excellent price, were able to use the pool for the neighbouring hotel. Clean and comfortable room, staff helped us rent moped and did laundry for a good price

We really liked the location of this property and that it is linked to the beachfront cove hotel. We were able to use their facilities throughout our stay. The staff throughout the Cove were super friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant a few times and the food and staff were exceptional. We even hired a bike from the Cove and when we eventually moved hotel to Lamai we kept the bike and returned when we left Samui.

The Chaweng budget hotel is quite basic and outdated. There were a few things in our room that didn’t work: the telephone and the toilet flush was very weak. There is no lift so there are lots of stairs to climb which is not ideal with heavy suitcases. The gym in the chaweng cove resort is very limited.

You can use the facilities of the chaweng cove resort which is opposite. It has an incredible beach and a nice pool area. The breakfast buffet is nice but there is no air conditioning. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning in the room was good. The laundry service was cheap and highly professional.

No complaints

Great fidget option for Chaweng Beach. Located on the quieter south side of the beach across the road from Chaweng Cove Resort, it’s a quick 30 second walk to the resort where you have access to the pool, beach and restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the AC is strong. The water pressure is a bit low in the shower but that’s not a real issue. Highly recommend staying here
