Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaI did have a few issues with the resort... it was a little noisy... at night you could hear everything as people walked & talked. There were no sheer curtains on our windows... so we had to close curtains & turn on light to get changed which meant we lost the beautiful natural light. We only received 1 key per room - again a little inconvenient. There was only 1 x USB point in our room, rather than 1 on each side of the bed which was inconvenient. Overall I didn't feel the air of generosity that you often find in great resorts.
Great location. Rooms were well laid out & clean Food was good (We didn't have dinner here - just breakfast & lunch) Housekeeping & reception staff were lovely

United KingdomRight on the beach, but the tide did often come all in the way in, so difficult to sunbathe on the beach right outside. A little bit outside Chaweng & bars, which is both good & bad, as Chaweng was very busy.
Breakfast was nice. Great accomodation, good size rooms. Pool was nice. Water in rooms each day.

AustraliaThere is no elevator. They have an annoying pool card system where you have to exchange a token to get a towel and then return it before 8. The water pressure for our shower was not good only passable.
It was very clean and the staff were super helpful. The breakfast buffet was great. It is right on the beach and the beach is very nice. Be aware they require a cash deposit for the room.

AustraliaBed was really hard. Free shuttle was scheduled only three times per day with the last one at 4pm. Would be great if had later options as centre bit far to walk. No food or drink offers (no happy hour but hotel next door did and food and drink there was great).
Location for sea views and in the quieter part of Chaweng. Pool was great and breakfast was enjoyable. Air con in the room was fantastic!

AustraliaBreakfast was pretty basic, although there was a dedicated egg chef. Warm water with any pressure in the shower doesn't seem to be a thing in Thailand and this place wasn't an exception. About a 20 minute walk into the main centre, however a few restaurants <10 minute away.
Beautiful location, always lounges available around the pool and beautiful staff. I didn't grab his name, but a member of staff, (usually part of the wait staff) starting with "Ja", usually wearing a pink hat, went above and beyond. By the second day he remembered our room numbers and preferences and always made sure we were taken of, whether it was to help put up the umbrellas around the pool, checking we were ok for drinks orders when around the pool, or offering to get us another coffee with our breakfast.

Hong KongThere should be a 'first-come, first-served' policy at the pool area. Some guests laid their towels out the night before to book their lounge seats, but only arrived midday to claim their seats. Families with small children who want to enjoy the pool in the early mornings before the sun gets too hot didn't get the seats (especially the seats close to the baby pool).
Our room was spacious. The resort was close to the airport, which made the drive after the flight bearable. The staff were friendly and treated us with smiles. The resort is baby friendly.

AustraliaMaybe more variety in fruit and bread at breakfast and definitely more Thai options on dinner Menu. I didn't eat much at the hotel because there was a good Thai restaurant close by that was far more authentic. I came to Thailand for the Thai experience, not to eat average Italian pasta or English fish N chips...Please take a risk and dont follow teh restaurants around you and be proudly Thai authentic with your food then it will be perfect. We noticed a lot of the European guests (Im Australian) also ate at the outside restaurant on main road as well, because some in their group did not want to eat the same they can get at home in Italy or Europe or UK.
the location was perfect for enjoying the beachfront water scenery without being in the hectic centre of town, could not have found better value than this. The beach when exposed was good clean sand and easy to walk on for non swimmers. The resort is near the airport but amazingly very little noise reached us. Car parking was great and I really struggle to make any negative commentary .

SlovakiaThey could offer cheaper meals in their restaurant and I bet they would get way more customers. There are lot of restaurants close to the hotel which offer cca 2x cheaper meals. Hotel restaurant was only filled with people in the morning for breakfast which was included. But I rarely saw somebody ordering full meal during lunch or dinner.
Hotel was very nice and clean with good food but it has very short beach which was mostly flooded during our stay due to windy weather. From 14 days of our stay, we could stay at the "hotel's" beach and swim in the sea only for 3 days. We had to go to other bigger public beaches like Lamai or Choengmon to experience real wide beach. When weather is windy, sea level is higher and short beaches simply disappear under water. So if you want to have experience daily walks on nearby beach, this hotel is not a good choice. I think this is the reason why this hotel is priced significantly lower comparing to many other hotels in Chaweng. On the other hand, when sea level is normal and the beach is visible, the scenery in that area is very unique. The sea is very shallow so you can walk like 50 meters away from beach into the sea and new islands appear on random places. Ideal place for families with kids.
