The resort overall looks tired, and it probably could do with a renovation.

Nice and cosy. The location is perfect. As soon as you come out of the resort, everything you probably need is there. The beach, however, is about 15 mins walk from the resort.

The hotel need renovation.Staff at the bar not polite.Bar prices really overpriced,like Bangkok luxury rooftop bars,although the bar itself is dirty.Mold smell in the room.

The room was with access to the pool.Very comfortable bed.Good AC.All attractions near by.Breakfast was ok,they have some asian options which was a plus.

Breakfast - less choices . Location - a bit far from beach.

The room - we arrived hotel at 9.30 pm , 1st night we got the room which aircons doesn't work very well. We did not find good room to replace on that night. Next day - Nancy arranged the room for us. The Pool is good , plenty activities.

We chose twin bed in our booking but at the arrival there was only a double bed. Personnel told us that they have only few twin-bed rooms and all of them are already taken. But we got an upgrade to newer room with king size bed in a quieter part.

We were accomodated in newer rooms in a quiet part of the resort with separate pool. Breakfast was amazing.

Music often too loud. Pool towels had to be returned every day. Not so good for couples or solo travellers. Bit of a trek to the beach but free shuttle was available hourly.

When we arrived at the hotel, I was asked to pay more than I was initially quoted on Booking.com. I booked for 3 people, yet the hotel managed to add on more money for an extra bed. WE DID NOT RECEIVE AN EXTRA BED. The extra bed was left in the hallway outside, which I took photos of. So, I was made to pay for something we didn't get. I was also told there was a $1500 BAHT deposit to pay, which I refused as it is not in the terms. So, she said "well, we will just remove the mini bar", Remove the mini bar, I don't care; we didn't use it anyway. This deposit should be an OPTION. Her attitude as awful. We just paid cash for our food and drinks. Room was ok, probably needed more room for our suitcases. As stated above, the bed side tables were something from a thrift store, they were so used with scratches and wood taken out from them, if you are going to charge such a high price for the rooms, make sure that the furniture fits the prices you are charging. Tiles in the shower needed cleaning, you could see all sorts of marks left on the tiles. Need another shelf in the shower for people to put their soaps, shampoos etc on. If you are going to charge people for an extra bed, make sure they get the extra bed. If you expect people to pay a $1500 BAHT deposit, make sure that is visible in the booking terms. Despite these issues, we would most definitely stay here again.

The lobby of the hotel is beautiful, especially when lit up at nighttime. The hotel comes complete with cats !!Enough seating for guests. Most of the staff were welcoming. Our room led directly out to the pool which was wonderful. Two double beds (we did not get the extra bed I paid for) which were comfortable. But the bedside tables look like they are from a thrift store. They need to be changed to bedside tables comparable for the price that you pay for the room. Plenty of room for our luggage and carry on. Lighting in the room was good. TV available for us to use. Bathroom was a good size with nice shower. There is an in room safe and thongs to use if you wish (we didn't use them) There are 3 pools to choose from, including one for the kiddies, and they also have happy hour, with cheap cocktails and drinks, with a swim up bar, a DJ and foam in the pool with staff dressed up and dancing around. There is a games area also. Hotel is very family focused and quiet. When you drive up to the hotel, there are small stalls on the left-hand side with locals selling their wares. Shuttle bus to Kata beach takes 5 minutes, it's a nice leisurely 10-minute stroll back, longer if you look in the shops on the way. Kata beach is lovely, but you have to rent your beach chairs and umbrellas, about $1500 BAHT each but definitely worth it. Remember your sunscreen because it is HOT! There are massage places around and money exchange shops as well, pharmacies and a local Dr. The buffet breakfast was delicious with lots of choices with eggs cooked how you like them while you wait. I had an omelet, and it was really nice. Dinner at Centara Kata was lovely and well-priced with traditional Thai dancers. Our Barman Coach was so wonderful to deal with, he was funny and treated my family and I so well. We felt very safe staying here and would definitely stay at Centara Kata again. It really is a lovely resort and so family friendly.

Bed a little too firm for me personally. Cat poop seemed to be a problem, cats were lovely but unfortunately used the sanded and grassed areas as their toilet

Fantastic location, staff were so friendly, facilities great, room servicing with clean sheets, beds made and mopped floors regularly was a bonus. We had a wonderful stay.

The breakfast was average. Breakfast at other Centara was better (more interesting variety). But not disappointed though, it delivered what it promised:)
