The owner Kai is exceptional. She welcomed me warmly into her hotel which she runs eccentricly but whilst catering for your every need and being generous with her time and helpfulness. her staff is a very efficient team. You will also not go hungry with an excellent range of included breakfast. Excellent value for money and a superb location for restaurants, bars, ATM, scooter rental and other amenities

The owner of the hotel is so nice! She offered us washing our dirty clothes and fresh fruit on the arrival. She also took me to the close beach, to show me local surf spot.

Make sure to put all your food in the fridge because there is ants in the room.

The breakfast is very generous and good. Our room had a nice large patio with view on the Mountains and generally quite place. The location is great.

Nothing - absolutely loved my stay at Casacool.

Room was spacious and incredibly comfortable. Kai was an absolutely incredible host, from the first minute I arrived until I left. Breakfast was also delicious!

The value for money at this hotel is truly remarkable - especially considering we are on a backpackers budget. The price of the stay included breakfast which was phenomenal. It included some yummy pastries, eggs cooked however you’d prefer and lots of fresh fruit. Not only this, but a free laundry service is included!! The lady who runs the hotel really made the experience even more remarkable, offering to drive her guests to desired destination and she was honestly so helpful and kind, making the stay that much more comfortable. After travelling Asia for 2 months, this is definitely the best place we’ve stayed. Cannot recommend it enough!

My partner and I stayed at Casacool for 2 nights but wish we had stayed longer. The hotel has such character and lovely staff. Khai is super friendly and helpful, and always so excited to help you out, take you places, book things for you, and chat. They even offer free laundry that they turned around the same day which was a huge help. Breakfast is unreal, there are lots of pastries, toast, cereal, eggs and then the ladies bring out a huge array of fruit for each table which was super tasty. The rooms were big and comfy and we had a big balcony. Also a great location right near the beach and the bang Niang market. Would 100% recommend and had a lovely stay here.

It doesn't look quite like it does in the pictures anymore.

The rooms were very clean. We were provided with an extra bed for our daughter next to the large, cozy bed. The owner was so kind and attentive; she remembered all our plans and wishes. We were driven to the beach every day. The breakfast was delicious. Fresh fruits we're served. We felt very comfortable. The location is perfect for quickly reaching the beautiful surrounding beaches, where sunbeds are free if you order food and drinks. Our favorite beach was Coconut Beach, and at Memorie Beach, you can see elephants. It was quiet at night. All nearby restaurants, shops, bars, and the night market were within walking distance. We didn’t need a taxi or scooter for the entire stay. We would love to come back and would like to thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful days we spent at your place and with you!

The property is gorgeous and the owner Kai is the most helpful and friendly person ever. Nothing was too much, I felt like I was part of her family. The breakfast was amazing and the rooms cleaned everyday. I would definitely stay again.

Kai couldn’t do enough for you, free laundry, take you to different beaches everyday, collect you, nothing was too much trouble, most comfortable bed, room cleaned every day, right in the middle of where you wanted to be and a short walk to a beach if you wanted to stay local. Breakfast was plenty, fresh coffee, lots of fresh fruit! Clean beach towels to use everyday, just felt part of everything we will definitely be going back to Casacool

The location is in the center of things in Khao Lak, the rooms nice and the breakfast great but it was the lady owner that made the stay special. She took the guests to a really nice beach every day in her own car. When I mentioned I liked to find some durian she when out of her way to help. Thank you sooo much

A lot of stairs if you have a room on the most upper floor.

Nice staff, good location, perfect value for money. Would have stayed longer than just one night. Hostellike Ambiente but private rooms. A lot of thoughtfull extras in room like coffee, water, refrigerator.

Staff and owner are so nice. There is a nice breakfast, clean rooms and one of the comfiest beds I’ve slept on during my travels. Location is great, right next to the market. The owner even took me to the bus station with no other charge. Highly recommend!

Ultimate hospitality with great value. I just wonder how the owner makes money as she has provided whatever service she could while she only charges a hostel rate. It is just too good to be true.

Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Great hotel located right off the Main Street, quiet and close to the beach, markets, etc. The staff are lovely. The Lao young women insisted they lug our bags up to our rooms on the second and fourth floors…one bag was huge and loaded with dive gear! Free laundry plus a lovely breakfast with your choice of fruits, breads, omelette, cereals, and fresh brewed coffee! Rooms are very large with nice big bathrooms and a balcony with table and chairs. No view, but great for drying bathing suits and dive gear!
