Reviews of Bougain Villas - Adults Only

The location of the property was nice. The road leading to it was paved and smooth. The room was nice and clean, with all the furniture pointing at the best thing - the view! Unfortunately it was raining a lot during our stay, so we couldn't really enjoy this view from the balcony, but still, even from the room it was super nice. The location was quiet and it seemed that the room was properly soundproofed.

The room had a very strong smell of...I don't know...mould or humidity. I realize that it's hard to maintain the property in such humid conditions, but the smell was too much for me. It didn't go away after opening the balcony window or switching the aircon on. But the worst part was...now, I realize that it's probably one in a million cases, but we had a mouse in the room! We spent good 3 hours at night trying to get rid of it, so obviously that wasn't a good night sleep. We left first thing in the morning.

Hosts were very quick at replying on booking.com and went above and beyond to help. We met the owner in person when we checked in and he made sure we had everything we needed. He recommended a brilliant motorcycle ride for us when we asked for some 'non-touristy' things to do, as well as recommending a place for lunch and helping us to plot it all into Google maps. He even recommended a brilliant evening spot for dinner. He was available when we needed him but also gave us our privacy. The room was brilliant with an amazing view of the mountain in Chiang dao! The planting around the buildings was incredible (even in dry season!) and made it feel like a little oasis. The pool was great - long and deep enough to swim a few lengths and everywhere was lovely and clean. We can't recommend Bougain Villas enough - we even stayed here an extra night!

Luxurious property with great view. The bed was really comfortable and we loved the big pool.

The pool could have been a bit cleaner but we only went in the evening so that was probably the reason.

We wish we could have stayed longer. The area is so beautiful! The view is incredible! The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

There was no net on the bathroom window, and the hot water ran out.

Well we both agreed this would be our dream set up, so I guess everything 😂😂

Overpriced for what you get (I paid Bht 2900 which in my opinion is too much for a basic room) No breakfast despite the high price Bed is very firm - too hard for my taste Overall the place is quite nice but does not offer good value for money

Very nice new building. Good swimming pool. Kitchen facilities in some rooms on the first floor. Near by (about 1 km) hostess restaurant for dinner was ok. Because city center is not on walkable distance.

A little bit smell of mold

As it was raining when we were there it was a bit cold and damp.

This property is stunning. The room was spacious and very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The balcony overlooking the mountain was also wonderful. We were allowed to bring our dog and the room was great for her too. There was also plenty of space around the property walk her 😊 The fridge was stocked with water and there was a kettle and coffee making facilities. The owner Aude was available very friendly and available on messenger to help with anything. We will definitely come back 😊

Bougain Villas have very large stylish, comfortable rooms set in absolutely breathtaking location in the north of the town. Surrounded by fields with horses and cows, and with a stunning view of the mountain it’s truly a paradise. The family run business takes great care in personal customer service. Even bringing paracetamol and congee to my wife who was having a fever. The pool is great for lengths and the adjoining restaurant can deliver to the room and is very good. Great value for money.

The place is amazing and the family is very welcoming! They made us feel at home right away. We didn't want to leave so we extended our stay more and more. We will come back for sure
