How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was perfect! Leo was an incredibly nice person, always available and ready to help. The facilities were also very nice, everything was super clean and you have several toilets and showers available. You also have free coffee, tea and bananas everyday, and the location is very convenient

The beds were comfortable and nice and big. The pod style beds were great as it felt really private. Tai and the other staff were super friendly and helpful. Great to have additional toilets and showers outside the rooms too. The free water and bananas were a nice touch. Overall, a great stay and I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and clean place to stay. It wasn't particularly social but the people in the dorm were friendly and chatty.

The hostel was always clean. The owner was super friendly and you could always grab some free snacks. The hostel was close to everything but never noisy. Great spot for solo travellers as I made a lot of friends.

Nothing negative to add just a suggestion that indoor chill area to remain open until later than 9 pm. Only one chill seat outside and a girl didn't move from it for hours.
Very clean hostel, secure and perfect location to the beach, port, Atm and restaurants. The main street had no power during the day but we were lucky to still have power. It can get a little warm in the ‘pod bed area’ despite having aircon on but it was not an issue at all, can be fixed by opening the curtain. Great chilling area/room. Can use dry room inside dormitory. They also provide free water and bananas.

The best hostel I ever stayed! So close to the beach but not far from the busy area. Drinking water, coffee/tea, bananas provided whole day. I prolonged my stay twice 😁

That was genuinely amazing experience! The bathrooms were super clean, even though there are other people in the room, you never really hear them. Everyone is just super polite. Location is like 8 seconds from the beach. Security boxes are there, free fruits are there, as well as water, coffee and 24/7 friendly, kind and helpful personnel. Laundry service is available as well. Thank you so much for this experience!

It was our first time in a hostel and it was the best. Hostel was clean and tidy. The staff were amazing they were all so friendly and helpful. Especially Tai he was the best ! The location is also perfect close enough to the centre but far enough the parties at night keeping you up.

The property is in perfect location, close to everything and you don’t hear parties at night so you can sleep early if you want to. The facilities are also great, very clean spaces and a great staff. And the you get free water, banana, and coffee and tea all the time

It was lovely! The receptionist was so nice and looked after us well. It was also so clean. Staff were all so friendly and helpful. Location perfect, so near to the pier, beach and town but not in the party area so it was quiet at night. The laundry service was good.

Amazing central location and super helpful staff! Free coffee, tea, fruit and water was very welcome. Extra bathrooms downstairs and terrace make for easy in/out without having to enter actual rooms. Available tour and transit booking along with laundry services and other times through host simplifies things. Easy to extend based on availability.

Everything was perfect
If your are looking for a quite and clean hostel right in the center of koh phi phi then I can only recommend this hostel. I really enjoyed my time there. The staff is awesome, they are very kind and helpful and you can easily book tours at the hostel. Probably the best hostel I've ever stayed in.
