How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Furniture in room is run down, outdoor plastic chairs have seen better days, needs a general refresh
Property was in a good location, far enough from full moon party madness, but also close enough to central happenings, restaurants and other convenience. Rooms were clean, right on the coast with a refreshing ocean breeze

They charged us for face paint in the towels which woukd of come out in the wash

Staff weren’t very welcoming or helpful, especially lady on reception. Arrived at 4.15 and room wasn’t ready. Very basic accommodation, and gaps between door and wall meant some insects could get in.
The location was good, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Room did the job.

Really over priced over full moon for what you actually get. No restaurant on property.
Great location if you're coming for full moon. Within a 5min walking distance from the full moon beach. Lots of restaurants close by to spend some time at.

The bathroom needs updating The toilet didn't flush properly One of the windows was broken The staff did not come to make up the room, change the bins or give fresh towels/ toilet roll- we had to go and ask reception ourselves
As a group of 4 bag packers- this suited us perfect. It was a basic room with 2 large comfy double beds and storage space with a safe. Although the pool is on the smaller side, it was great to have right at our door step. It is in the heart of all the night life activities and is an IDEAL location for if you are attending the full moon party.

The shower wasn’t the best, was very expensive compared to other properties in Thailand but I think it was put up because of the full moon party

The bed was very very hard and uncomfortable. Also the bed sheets hat some stains.
The property has a great location (near the full moon party beach). Also the room was very big and you hat enough space for everything. The staff was very kind and gave us water as well as shampoo.

Nice hotel, good location, everything was okay, good value for money (arround 1200 baht / 30€ for double room). Parking for motorbikes, close to 7eleven, good AC, quiet at night, nice pool.

Bedding was clean but could do with being replaced. Needs hairdryer in room but was given one when asked. to be given more towels. The room could do with a little decorating.
Location good. Had pool and on the beach but very small. Friendly staff. Has laundry and motor bike rent on site and shop

it was a bit far from the restaurants and shops. And we always had to ask for necessities like toilet paper and fresh towels.
I loved that it was steps from the beautiful beach.

Good place to stay if you go to the Full Moon Party. It is really close by. The place is nice, clean, equiped with a pool and just in front of the sea. There are every thing you need in the area. There is a safe in the room. Wi-Fi is also available.

They lady tried to rip us off by charging 1500baht for non existent scratch on the scooty we hired.

It feels very German to even mention this: the water pressure in the shower was quite low.
I loved it. Great location directly by the ocean (I guess I was lucky to get a room directly in front of the beach), cute little pool, nice and clean rooms (room service on demand) and run by a super friendly family. Scooter rental and a nice cafe (really good coffee) is also offered by the resort. Will definitely try to come back :)
