It is directly next to probably the loudest bar in Koh Tao so was hard to sleep if going to bed before 1/2am

There could be more outlets for charging electronics. Everything here is great except there is a bar downstairs that plays terrible music late into the night! Made it hard to get a good night of sleep.

Dorms are nice, clean comfy beds with nice curtains, clean showers, and lockers for personal items. Location is very central to many of the nearby dive schools, bars, and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and willing to help with whatever you need.

The property is basic, best for just 1/2 nights we were here for 4 and was a mistake due to the liveliness of the street it is located on sounds as though they are in the room with you. I would recommend taking your shoes off at the door if you don’t want your room to be sandy

The pub opposite is very noisy but stops around 2am!! Also most beds are not provided with plug sockets, so you have to share with 10 people!!

Really modern room with lots of space. They try and put all female’s in one dorm which is so nice. Also you are given two balconies :)

Be prepared for very loud nights. The guesthouse I was staying in is located right above the famous bar crawl pubs so 3 nights of the week it was bananas until around 2/3am

Did find the bed uncomfy but that’s personal taste. There were some electric issues whilst I was there. I know some of this was island wise but I know for a fact one evening wasn’t and it made it very difficult to do anything in the room. Very loud but I knew this would be the case going into this hotel as I was aware of the location.

The rooms are modern and clean. The woman on the front desk I forget her name was very sweet and helpful when I needed help contacting an inward hotel. The location is very well suited to anyone wanting to party and stay out all night as you are directly infront of all the busy bars.

The bars next door are very loud and it made it a bit difficult to sleep. No fault at all of the hotel though.

The noise. There is a pub crawl bar in front so you will hear DANCING QUEEN every night inside your head.] Plus a lot of drunken tourist around. It lacks a pool. For the same price you can get better options including pool Having to take off my shoes to climb that stair. IT SAYS ON BOOKING THEY TAKE CARD BUT THEY DONT!

The room it self was very comfortable. Bed of great quality. Internet was one of the best I had in Koh tao. It has a nice dedicated desk to place your laptop comfortably.

The rooms were so smelly, the drains were backing up from the showers and loos and it made the whole room smell. No curtains and the beds are barely 30cm away from each other. Doors never locked and anyone can walk in from the street. It was very noisy, but this was expected when booking because of the location so didn’t mind this as much. Beds very uncomfy. Would never stay here again, felt so uncomfortable and unsafe. Not social but made the best of it.

This is my only gripe about Bans Ave Guesthouse it is located right next to an open club/bar that overtly blasts music til 2 am even though it is mostly empty and I mean like concert type blasting and the walls being thin it does not provide great sound reduction at all, it almost seems like you’re inside the bar. Everything else otherwise is honestly quite nice as facility is ok and room and bed are very cleanly and staff is friendly and helpful. If their is anyway they can dampen the noise then this place would be a great steal

For the Bans Ave Guesthouse it was very conveniently located right on the main path making it easy to navigate to a multitude of things

So noisy at night, wasnt soundproof at all. It was like sleeping with doors and windows open. After i checked out i went on a snorkeling tour and wanted to shower when i came back. I had a night ferry, and the staff wouldnt let me shower because they had already cleaned. Had to ask a random place to let me shower

It was clean and the staff was nice. Mostly nice because of the location. It was in the centre snd 2 min from the beach
