Khao Sok is huge, so you need to travel for 30-45 min to get to the activities you wanna see. So you book next to the 'park' but it turns out you should decide what you want to experience before you go. Otherwise you will spend quite some time in transport

Great place to stay for a couple of nights when visiting Khao Sok national park. Room is basic but just what you need for a short stay. The host booked the lake tour for us making the experience very smooth and enjoyable. Great value for money with breakfast included which is a great bonus. In the centre of the village so easy to get to restaurants and shops. Thank you for hosting us :)

The location is very close to the entrance of the national park. The hosts were wonderful – they offered and organized a day trip for us. You can also rent a scooter directly on site. There’s a river right nearby, and we went tubing with the host himself, which was a great experience. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and the service provided by the family was very warm and friendly. The room was spacious and comfortable, with drinks in the fridge priced almost like in a regular store. In the mornings, we even saw monkeys around – a lovely touch of nature!

Nothing, perfect place, perfect people, perfect dish.

We were so surprised to see how people were nice and caring there. What a beautiful experience. If you go to Khao Sok, don't miss Bamboo Gold Houses. The room was big with a lot of space, the bed was so comfy, people were so nice and breakfast was fantastic. Thank you for all the little attentions, we absolutly loved our trip in Khao Sok because of you !

Nothing I love this place

THE BEST AC UNIT IN THAILAND, I have been constantly hot since arriving and each placed i stayed at had poor ac. When arriving here i turned on the AC and it was cold within an hour. Besides that plenty of space, comfortable beds, AND high quality sheets!

You have to realize you’re in a village in the middle of nature, so a lot of facilities and accommodations will be basic. It’s not like a 5 star resort. But you come to Kao Sok for the tours in the park, not to relax. So if you leave your westernized standards at home, you’ll have a great time

The staff is absolutely lovely! They take so much pride in making your vacation special. The food was outstanding (the owner is a chef, and his wife is also an amazing cook). Communication was great, the owner speaks very good English. The room was basic but perfect for a few nights. I would definitely recommend!

Woody was an amazing host, making sure we've got everything we need! We've booked the lake tour through the hotel and it was really well organised with pick up etc. Breakfast was beautiful, either fry up or continental option - both of them really tasty and freshly prepared. I would definitely recommend to everyone, we loved the convinient location, huge clean room and hospitality ❤️

Breakfast start time is very close to the time you are picked up for tours, hence very rushed breakfast.

The best accommodation we had in Thailand. The host puts their whole heart into hospitality, and the food is extraoridinary. Unique, signature dishes, a beautifully decorated restaurant, and a very clean and comfortable room. I highly recommend it!

There is a funny gurgling sound that comes from the toilet at random times during the day/ night. The air con started making a loud noise one night and stopped working, however the owner rectified this very quickly so it wasn’t an inconvenience.

The room was very large and well appointed with air con, fridge, hot shower and lots and lots of space. Check in was quick and efficient The hotel is in the heart of the village and very well located. The breakfast included in the room price was excellent! You can choose between an American breakfast or continental. I chose the American which was very filling, you get a choice of eggs, sausage, bacon, sourdough bread, salad, fruit, juice and tea or coffee. The owner has great presentation skills and has experience in the hospitality industry.

- very convenient location in Khao Sok. - great group day trip organised by host to the lake in the national park. It’s a very beautiful national park and a well organised day trip. - food at the guesthouse restaurant is very tasty. We’re vegetarians and enjoyed the options they had available. - the complimentary breakfast is delicious and very filling! - there is a free drinking water refill machine in the restaurant downstairs. - the host helped us organise early morning onward transport to Surat Thani where we needed to catch a train. Even though it was very early (6am) he was kind to prepare a takeaway breakfast for us. - it was wonderful to meet Bamboo, the guesthouse cat - she’s soooo cute ❤️😻

This accommodation was the best myself and my friend has stayed in the whole of Thailand so far! (been here three weeks). Woody was an excellent host making lovely breakfast and very kind. He organised our tour for us one day and organised a taxi to come pick us up. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again! Thank you
