Very friendly and helpful host, the property was extremely well presented. Room was all we needed for the one night and handy to good restaurant and the river walking track.

Located on the main road that has a mini mart, 7-11 and a lovely local food restaurant next door. There in July, rain season so it was very quiet and sort of in hibernation mode. No breakfast available at the property, coffee was but there are places to get food and supplies that were open to find most needs. Build partially in wood and concrete it has an old charm. Owner was helpful Great for a one or two day stop before crossing the border.

The bathroom was very small so taking a shower was a bit of a squeeze but it was fine for 1 night and was to be expected for the great price

Very convenient if taking the slow boat to or from Laos. We arrived at around 8pm and the lady and man were very helpful and informed us which bus to get the next morning to Chaing Rai

Shower was at an awkward position where it aimed at the sink so was difficult to stand under the direct flow of it.

The room was very nice, good air con and had a little balcony which was nice. Bed was comfy. Was a fridge too which was useful for keeping water cold.

Aircon dripped - not really an issue for us but don’t leave electronics under it!

Great accommodation for getting the Slowboat. Centre of the town so walkable to restaurants to eat. Staff were very friendly and helped us with Slowboat process, could even book tours with them if needed. Room was slightly basic but very good for the price, had waters in the room on arrival.

No breakfast was available at the guest house and there were no places nearby where we could buy breakfast. Mattress was very hard! They only accept cash to pay for the room.

Location was good, right on the main street in town. Good coffee in the morning (surcharge), room had everything we needed for one night, AC worked well.

Our room was near the compressors (or similar units for the property) so it could be noisy at times but I cannot complain for the price!

Lovely room, very comfortable and the staff at the hotel were very accommodating. The owner kindly gave us a lift to the friendship bridge for a reasonable price, saving us the legwork of tracking down an alternative option. Would happily return!

Quite a few mosquitos but you are next to a river so can't be helped. We put up a mosquito net for the night so had no problems. Unfortunately the shower didn't operate hot water as the safety switch would turn off every 2 seconds which was a little frustrating as we couldn't shower and had to check out early for our onwards bus.

Easy guesthouse for entering or leaving Thailand. Man on reception very nice. We stayed here for 1 night for a quick transit and it ticked that box i.e. check in, sleep, check out. Place next door good for pad Thai.

The owner was lovely did all he could to help us out. He has his own tuktuk so took us to the bus station for a small extra fee. The room was a good size with a fridge, AC, fan, wardrobe, clean towels, TV and WiFi. Bed was firm which is what we like. The bathroom was clean and functional, we've been travelling for 2 weeks now and its was the best shower I've had. Very convenient location close to food, super market, beer and stalls.

The guy checking us in was quite rude and didn’t make us feel very welcome. The rooms weren’t very soundproof and we could hear the people in the room next to us talking and their alarm in the morning. Didn’t sleep very well at all.

Good value for money. Comfortable bed and clean. Had a fridge and a locked drawer which was good for valuables. They sorted our papers with the tour company for the boat to Loas the next day.

Owner was really helpful in sorting our border crossing and slow boat tickets, this was for an extra fee but was really smooth and took the stress out of missing the boat. Rooms were clean and a good size.
