We stayed in the Penthouse Suite (Room 501) at Baan Souy Resort and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The suite was spacious, exceptionally clean, and beautifully decorated in a modern Thai style. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The resort itself feels like a true oasis. The large swimming pool is surrounded by palm trees and comfortable sun loungers, creating a wonderfully relaxing setting. There are also two spacious rooftop garden areas that are perfect for sunbathing or simply unwinding. The complimentary breakfasts were always enjoyable and set us up nicely for the day. What really stood out, though, was the impeccable service and high standards throughout our stay. Jim and Gordon were wonderful hosts, and managers Lek and Chang ensured everything ran smoothly behind the scenes. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. The location is also excellent – just a short baht bus ride to the seafront, shops, and nightlife of Jomtien, or about 10–15 minutes into Pattaya in the opposite direction. This resort already has plenty of glowing reviews, but we felt compelled to add ours. Baan Souy is the perfect choice for anyone seeking relaxation, comfort, and Thai charm.

I would have valued a bigger newer TV. Not an issue for me on this shorter stay but on longer trips I sometimes like to relax on my own watching TV some evenings.

Very nice gardens and pool. Room spacious. Staff excellent. The owners, Jim is front of house, are very hands on and run a tight ship. Jim is very knowledgeable about Thailand in general and Pattaya in particular. I often travel alone and when I stay here I feel like I am staying with friends. Housekeeping faultless. This place is an oasis in Pattaya!

There is nothing to complain about.

A haven of peace in this city. You feel at home in this oasis. The staff are very friendly and helpful. You'll be amazed when the three housekeeping ladies tidy up your room. The furnishings shine with many special accessories and items that are not only practical but also add a special touch to the complex.

The property and the staff were welcoming and assisted me with whatever I wanted or needed. The room was very spacious and whilst dated, had everything I expected and wanted. Breakfast was a little ordinary, but....a great French cafe a short walk away, eased my coffee angst! Lovely large pool, and as it was the office season, it was pretty much mine alone 😔. My only problem was with Booking.com who were unclear in their booking process. It was not clear that ALL payments were to the property directly. Except for a no-show fee, which Booking.com collects for itself. Poor show Booking.com. I would advise you to book directly or use Agoda if you want to stay here. Small comments, tips. Air cond was a little noisy. Pillows are unusually thick and a bit hard. Breakfast room needs a little background music, improve ambience.

Jim and the staff at Baan Souy are incredibly welcoming and upon arrival always greet you by your name, the breakfast is fresh and delicious and the pool is an absolute must for a night time swim - the rooms are clean, the decor tasteful and the beds are comfortable, this resort is a little piece of heaven, I wish I could have stayed longer and I will return soon. Thank you Jim and all of the staff ☺️

breakfast is ok, but if you are a gym guys you'll have to request extra but in not expensive, the gym was small but was perfect for quick and efficient workout, room didn't have kitchenette as stated but it was such a great stay that i didn't mind it at the end

its a perfect stay if you want to have peace and relax in a pool or jacuzzi with such natural atmosphere, its like you are in a wellness retreat, staff is great and accommodate to your needs, we were there for a music festival and was the perfect getaway within Patayya to have a relax and chill recovery

Good location, friendly owners. Songkaew buses run on the main road a very short stroll away. Easy to reach Pattaya Central and Jomtien this way. Car park was a good size, we never had an issue getting a space in the 7 days we stayed.

Perhaps I should have asked Chang but some soft pillows on the bed would be a great benefit.

A nice warm welcome back from the owners and staff. The complex has had a nice revamp in and outside the units and it's looking good. The new deck chair covers make things look very tropical. Always great to return here, a home away from home away from the hustle and bustle of Pattaya/Jomtein! The bathroom is fantastic with the updated shower fittings fulfilling every need for cleaning up.

It’s just perfect . Nothings tired. Everything is well maintained. Owners and staff are fantastic . It’s easy to get to nightlife but lovely peaceful oasis to return to for peaceful sleep. Pool is lovely. Beds are super comfortable. I am a returning guest like many others we appreciate the quality.

I've been wanting to stay in this beautiful and cozy hotel for a long time. And it turned out to be even better here than I had imagined in the photo - a very beautiful and caring design, a calm, friendly atmosphere, cleanliness everywhere, lots of comfortable places on the territory - you can relax or practice yoga and meditation, sports - and there are enough separate spaces for everyone. A clean swimming pool with comfortable salt water and a Jacuzzi can be used around the clock. Thank you, Jim’s delicacy and care create a wonderful atmosphere.
