Baan Samui is a lovely boutique hotel in a great location along Chaweng Beach. Easily accessible to all the nightlife and restaurant options along the strip but didn't notice any overly loud noise (room was up the front road end) Staff were super friendly, Great section of beautiful beach right out the front. Breakfast was good every day. Food options around the pool were good too.

Great location to swim- there are fancier resorts but you can’t just swim out like you can at this one.

The gym has a reasonable amount of space but is very poorly equipped - would be good if they could add some dumbbells/weights and benches. The areas around the buildings really need some trees - it is quite desolate and harsh. I guess this is because it’s quite a new hotel.

Only two things missing : mango fruit at breakfast and fresh orange juice!

The hôtel is really well located. Close to restaurants and activities with a direct access to the well side of the beach! The hôtel staff is really kind and always opens to help! Great experience !

Pool wasn't a friendly area in regard to it being one depth overall, being only 155cm tall I couldn't stand anywhere in the pool not ideal for children either.

Maybe if i was to make a recommendation it would be to make the restaurant more affordable as it was quite expensive for what they offered.

Loved the beach it was on an excellent section of Chaweng beach the water was crystal clear & clean. The pool was also excellent! As was the location close to shopping & dining.

Breakfast was pretty average. Generally poor selection and finished too early (10am) so the kids missed it every day. Other than that - nothing at all.

We really liked Baan Samui. The location is excellent - close enough (10 mins) to the great nightlife and lovely restaurants in Chaweng but tucked away, quiet, right on a lovely part of the beach. The staff were exceptional, friendly, couldn’t do enough for you - particularly Tan who runs the restaurant. Pool is nice. Restaurant good. Drinks very good. Chilled atmosphere. We enjoyed the Thai cookery course ! Really good value all round.

No happy hour and the drinks were ridiculously expensive. 180 baht for a small beer and 120 baht for a soda made it by far the most expensive of the hotels I’ve stayed in. We didn’t order any drinks at the hotel whereas we would normal have a few most days.

Rooms not big if that’s on your list, very nice though.

Went rogue on a trip to the Island and decided to stay, looked at a few places and found this, one room left. Delightful small hotel. Lovely pool, beach beautiful, next to the pool. Perfectly located on the Main Street but at the quieter end. Perfect for all types of guests. We came as a couple, would happily bring the children. Staff are all very friendly and helpful, didn’t want to leave. Really good value for money.
