Just WOW! Very quiet location, spotlessly clean, modern and close to sights and good food. The staff were excellent and the breakfasts in the garden by the pond a real treat. Well worth staying here.

In addition to being conveniently situated close to various temples and fun neighborhoods, our hosts were wonderful and went out of their way to make us comfortable. The room was clean and had all the practical things we needed: fridge, bath products and a hair dryer. The noise and bustle of the crazy city around us could not be heard inside the hotel. Breakfast is simple, but can be enjoyed next to a little pond with fish and lotus blooms. We highly recommend this lovely place.

The short stretch of road leading to the hotel is a bit uneven and dimly lit at night, as it runs along a canal where some people sleep outdoors. It felt safe, but it’s good to have a flashlight for those 20 meters.

The location is perfect – just a short walk to Khao San Road and the pier for the Blue Line water taxi. Behind the entrance gate, the hotel is a peaceful little oasis with a lovely garden, koi pond, and birdsong – a great place to relax after the busy city. The house is beautifully kept and very clean, with shoes left outside. Our room was comfortable with a firm bed and a Smart TV. The hosts were incredibly kind, and the breakfast (both Western and Thai options, plus fresh French press coffee) was excellent.

The location is a little hidden because is in an alley next to the river, but is perfectly safe and the neighbours are really nice too.

The place was really clean and Mr. Chain (and his wife) were the nicest hosts also the breakfast was delicious.

Right in the city centre, close to everything in the old city (e.g. 10 minutes walk from the palace), yet so quiet and peaceful, with a lovely garden where breakfast is served. Hosts are very warm and welcoming, had no problem conversing with them with some use of google translate. Rooms were clean, good amenities (good A/C, bathtub, shelves for clothes) and felt very private. The breakfast that was served was an authentic thai breakfast (with fresh fruit for dessert), and we enjoyed the experience very much. The hosts had no problem adapting the food to our vegan/vegetarian diet. Would definitely come here again.

We had a really great stay. We usually choose our accommodations based on guest reviews, as they help give a genuine sense of the place — and once again, we made the right choice. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. They offer both traditional Western-style and Thai-style breakfast. The rooms are clean, fairly spacious, and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless. Housekeeping refreshed the room and made the bed every day. The property is located in a central neighborhood, about a 20-minute walk from Wat Pho and the Grand Palace. The entrance isn’t immediately visible, as it’s a bit tucked away, but if you set the nearby hostel as the destination on Grab, it’s easy to find. The area feels safe, and we always felt at home. There’s also a beautiful sunken fish pond surrounded by plants that gives the place a unique atmosphere. Room access is via electronic key card — everything is well organized. We truly recommend this accommodation. It exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the lovely owners, we had three wonderful days!

It was a little difficult to navigate to by GPS because the address is not on the main road. After finding it the first time though, it was not a problem.

First impressions in terms of the path outside may mislead into knowing how nice this place really is inside. But actually great central location and this place is a perfect haven inside a busy city.

The room doesn’t have a smoke alarm, and it’s a wooden building, so I would be concerned nobody would know if a fire started from the electrics when everyone was asleep! There should definitely be radio linked smoke or heat alarms in every room, and in communal areas that have electrical appliances.

I loved everything about this place ! Tonq Mr chain and the lady who prepares breakfast are great ! I felt like home the vibe is very nice . The cleaning is great you can feel this from everything . The location is great so we walked to places we want to go . Internet is fast and breakfast is delicious . If I would come in future to Bangkok Baan Debtidq will be the place I want to stay :) thanks ❤️

We had a lovely time in Baan Debtida.This is a small boutique hotel,run perfectly -immaculately clean,ultimate comfort-bed,pillow,etc.Beatiful outdoor space to sit,relax and cool down from the heat in Bangkok. I want to single out Leah and her colleague or partner not sure what their relation is,but both are absolute keepers, running all to great standards. We loved also the breakfasts every morning different substantial Thai breakfast,more like a dinner for the European standards, but absolutely delicious. Location is perfect-in a very quiet alley along the canal,completely remote from city noise. Wat Pho,the Palace,Khao San rd.are very close,so as China Town. We met the owner as well,who is a lovely man and gave us great recommendation where to go.This is my third time in Bangkok and still managed to find a hidden gem he recommended- Khlong Bang Luang floating market. If we return to Bangkok,we will definitely return to this hotel Thank you,Leah for making our stay so pleasant and easy.
