The only downside we experienced was regarding the sunbeds at SEEN Beach Club, which is part of the hotel grounds. We were informed only at check-in that using them requires an additional fee, something we hadn’t been told in advance. Considering SEEN is integrated into the hotel’s branding and space, this came as a bit of a surprise and felt like a detail that should’ve been mentioned beforehand.

We had a really enjoyable stay at Avani Chaweng Samui Hotel & Beach Club. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with a cool retro-chic design and a fun yet relaxed vibe. The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional, which made a big difference in how welcome and comfortable we felt. The breakfast was excellent – fresh, tasty, and with a good variety that gave us a perfect start to each day. And most of all, the location is fantastic: right across the street from Chabad House, and just a short walk to Chaweng Beach, Bangla-style nightlife, shops, restaurants, and anything else you might want while in Samui. It couldn’t be more convenient.

It should have been mentioned that the Seen Beach Club is not part of the hotel and gets quite noisy. Unfortunately, there was a large group travelling who didn't care about any other travellers and I felt sorry for the staff who had a few encounters with them at the time.

The hotel itself was nice and tidy. Beds very comfy and breakfast great. All staff are super friendly.

There was a lot of noise in the room from other rooms and from the beach bar of the hotel. When i came to the hotel i saw kids in the pool even though its suppose to be adults only hotel, they said its because of the water festival but they didn't mention it anywhere. Overall, the price paid was very high and not justified by the quality of the room and the hotel's facilities

3 of our 4 nights we were awaken in the middle of the night because of loud talking neighbours… So rather „thin walls“, but we were obviously unlucky with our neighbours.

The hotel is adults only but, there are a lot of young people that come to be in this hotel and they make a lot of noise until late hours of the night, it is something that the hotel needs to address. Also, I think that the food is a bit poor in the morning. I think they should offer a better coffee in the morning… I didn’t like that even though Seen beach club is a part of the hotel, as a hotel guest you need to pay 5000-10000 bath for a bed next to the pool that is on the beach , At least the hotel should give some credit or nice discount if not free beds to his hotel guests on these beds. At least put some free smaller beds for hotel guests on the pool side.

Avani chaweng is located in a great location, a minute or less from the main road of Chaweng, on the beach with seen beach club on its side. Room is big and very comfortable, bed is huge! It is a nice midrange hotel to be in.

More attempts could have been made via Seen beach club to accommodate existing Avani guests. Several loungers/beach beds lay empty for the whole day with no room for negotiation on bed prices. The lower cost beds and free area on the beach were nearly always full.

While the suite and amenities were great, there were a few disappointing aspects of our stay. When it started raining, there weren’t enough umbrellas available, and the check-in experience felt rushed, with the staff demanding passports before we even had a chance to set down our bags. The appetizers we ordered were bland and lacked flavor. Additionally, charging hotel guests to sit at the pool didn’t feel right—it came across as taking advantage of guests. With a few improvements, this could be a truly excellent experience.

We had an amazing stay in the suite with a beautiful balcony view of the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and the spacious bathroom was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and room service was quick. The staff at the pool, restaurant, and concierge were all fantastic, and the intern who took us to our room was very welcoming. Highly recommend!

The hotel states that it has a beach, but the beach is actually a separate beach club, so you must (a) pay 3,000 Bhat a day for a sunbed or go to another beach, and (b) suffer a loud bass music by a DJ from 11am until 11pm (yes, 12 hours!), non-stop, and that noise gets into the rooms, so you must either stay behind closed windows in your room or stay outside the hotel if you seek some quiet. This is a major downside since we really like music but had no intention of staying at a nonstop party instead of relaxing when in vacation.
