The room smelled during our stay. The matras was very hard. There were no sheets provided. In the morning, they started making breakfast without us ordering anything. My kids didn't eat guacamole, and I don't like koriander. Small things that can be fixed, so I hope they use this comment to improve. This place can be great!

The comfort of the beds and pillows is a gamble. There were 5 of us and only one comfy bed. Us western tourists are weak and need soft beds haha! The bathrooms could do with a makeover.

Lovely family and staff. So helpful, friendly, kind and great food! The included breakfasts were amazing, and the views were incredible! The all-day menu was fantastic. We felt very welcome.

There is not much to do around if you don't have a car or a scooter. ( Which was m'y case, alone with two kids) Which is why Ibopted for thé excursions with them and int was amazing!

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Good food at their restaurant. We did a full day excursion with Bee and Oy and we loved int. They took us to amazing places and they we're really nice company. Beautiful terrace with view on the mountain.

Beautiful view on the mountain from the restaurant and the terrace in the big house. Very chilled atmosphere, friendly and helpful hosts. If you want more privacy I recommend to book the Circle bungalow as the rooms in the main house have very thin walls and the windows of the rooms look on the main terrace

Bar, the woman who works here is so lovely and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us out with whatever we needed. She also drove us into town and the hot springs and picked us up which was so helpful when we didn’t have a scooter. The free breakfast every day was delicious. They went out of their way to make a really good substantial vegan breakfast for us. The location is so lovely, beautiful view of the mountains and a lovely deck. The room was spacious and had a nice window looking out to the garden. However it didn’t feel the cleanest and there were a lot of ants. The bathroom and some of the furniture felt as though they could do with refreshing and were a bit rundown.

Love our room! This was the 1st place we stayed at in Thailand and it was the right choice to stay in this room. We had our private parking and own house. We were here end of March so their AC really helped because it was really hot outside. The toilet was alright and spacious but don't expect it to be pretty. As long as it served its purpose. The location is good but since you're in Northern Thailand, it's best if you have your own private vehicle so that you can go to the town to eat since there's not a lot restaurants around. They own a restaurant in front and their Japanese food tastes good. Not everyone can understand English so just need a liitle patience. Thank you Ashi Guesthouse!

I felt that the room was not worth the price. However many accommodations in Chiang Dao are the same if not more expensive, so I think it is still the budget friendly option in the area. But I feel I could've paid the same amount for a much nicer accommodation. The hot water only worked if run at a drip. The shared fridge was SO dirty. Molding food and had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. The hot water boiler in the common area had floating particles in it.

Location is prime, just below the mountains, it is beautiful and peaceful. Walking distance from several Wat, and the Chiang Dao cave. The Ashi restaurant is cute, breakfast was amazing, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the nature is spectacular.

We had an excellent stay at Guesthouse Ashi. Different types of room are available. We booked the large room with terrace and mountain view, reminiscent of a house on stilts. The combination of a modern bathroom and a rustic style gives this rental a unique charm. The owners and staff were particularly warm and welcoming.

We read about comfortabel beds, good breakfast and a well english speaking host. Sadly we did not experience any of that. Also were the walls of the rooms which are connected very thin and we could hear everything. I do not know if it was different because we were there in off season.

The location and the looks of the house are amazing, the common area is a really nice place to chill in with a lovely view.
