Lovely bungalow so close to the beach, step out onto the balcony and wander up through the restaurant straight onto the beach in 2 minutes. Great breakfast and staff very attentive with service. Comfortable beds on beach, towels and waiter service on the beach! Lights on trees and around bar/restaurant in evening look great. Very nice beach and quiet when we were there first week of April. Wish we could have stayed longer

No public transport nearby and taxis very expensive if you need to visit town frequently. Breakfast should have more choices. Our Bungalow had no TV.

Simple but with all the essentials. This place is amazing for those that want to get away from any hustle and bustle of life. The views are just breathtaking and the connection to the nature and to the sea is 24-7.

The rooms were clean but bathrooms could do better. Obviously it is due higher moisture there, and seemed we were not in the updated bungalow - we saw others were newer, so hopefully all will get updated eventually.

Very nice location, the bungalows are very close to the sea, and the restaurant for breakfast and other meals is right besides the beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are readily available, free of charge, you can order the drinks to your sunbeds, service was outstanding! Fairly quiet, good for relaxing and easy stays if you don't like crowds and noise. Exactly the type we looked for. Be prepared to use taxis and rent a moped (as we did) as location is quite remote. With a moped it was very convenient to get anywhere we wanted.

Tables by the sunbeds need replacing. They are clean but look very grubby.

Food in the restaurant was terrible, only mango shakes were fine, breakfast starts at 8:30 we have been told that we can cam earlier and grab something but we came and left with no food…

We returned here having visited 2 years ago , and ir was still a great place to stay. Large comfortable bungalows are all very quiet with a fantastic beach. We visited various of the rustic beach restaurants and bars, all very romantic as they are set on the sand, amidst the waves.

Room smelt a little musty

Breakfast had a great variety of choices. Chay was amazing. We rented scooters on site so we could explore. Great Thai massages on site. We were upgraded to a larger room due to room shortage. Beach staff was amazing they ran to keep you comfortable . Very central as long as you have a scooter to get around. Lots of wonderful restaurants close by.

We absolutely adored Ao Thong beach resort! Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable. Access to the beach in less than a minute with loungers available for the day. The staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. If you are looking for a mid-range resort and a stunning beach with good options for food, look no further.

Nothing this is perfect for a on the beach low key in the local environment place excellent value for money dont come here if you are looking for posh but if you are looking for natural local nature, proper beach stuff this is ideal

There were a few minor maintenance issues that need attending to in the rooms. Milk (as opposed to milk powder) would have been appreciated at breakfast.

The beds didn’t have any blankets, just a sheet that was stiff and not comfortable. Sometimes the bathroom sink smelled like sewage but that’s something we noticed most places in Thailand.

Breakfast was so good, the best we had in Thailand. The prices at the restaurant were very reasonable and the food was always very good. The staff were also very kind and the beach was nice.

The shower had very little pressure. The bathroom also could have been cleaned a bit better, for example, the sink had some mold that was easily removable with toilet paper, so it could have definitely been cleaned properly by the cleaning staff.

The room is very spacious and the bed is huge and comfortable. The AC works perfect. The room was very clean. This is a lovely place to chill for a few days and walk barefoot from your room to the beach. The staff is incredibly nice and the service at the restaurant is quite fast and the food is delicious. The bar/restaurant is directly in front of the sea with a great view. The sunbeds are also in great condition.
