Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

This is the best hotel we ever stayed. Staffs are super kind and helpful. No need to mention the spectacular views of the lobby and room, it look exactly like the pictures. But you must explore by yourself, cause even the pictures cannot show how amazing this hotel is. Also, we’re here to celebrate the birthday, they give us cute surprises, really appreciate it! If you love to be in the nature and getaway from the city, please please please visit Anawa❤️

SwedenOne of the breathtaking hotels I have been to. If you think the images on the site are beautiful, the real place goes beyond that. Our family had such a great time there. Gorgeous mountain view to wake up to. I didn't expect much from the dinner, thought it'd be a typical hotel dinner, but I was wrong! The chefs really know what they're doing. I wish I could stay longer. Gonna come back for sure.

ThailandMy stay at this hotel exceeded all expectations! From the moment I arrived, I felt immersed in an atmosphere of comfort, attention, and genuine hospitality. The location is absolutely stunning — surrounded by breathtaking views, nature, and tranquility. It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The ambience of the hotel is both relaxing and inspiring. You truly feel like a welcome guest here, not just a customer. The staff deserves special praise: warm, attentive, and sincerely dedicated to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Their kindness and professionalism are on par with the finest luxury resorts. The cleanliness and comfort of the rooms are exceptional. Every detail is carefully thought out — from the furnishings to the little touches that make you feel at home and cared for. And let’s talk about the breakfast — an absolute highlight! Delicious, made from fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

GreeceEverything was perfect.
We LOVED the Anawa Krabi Resort! The Zen-inspired architecture was amazing; the public spaces very comfortable. The lobby and restaurant overlooked a shallow decorative pool and gorgeous mountains! Our bungalow was very spacious and comfortable. The restaurant served amazing food; the chef even cooked us some fresh fish that we found in the local market. And the staff, led by Noi while we were there, was outstanding. All of these factors made us want to return, especially during the dry season ... and we definitely will!! Highly recommended!

IsraelHotel Pool is not a swimming pool which was a major disappointment—especially since the best view is from the pool area. The photos on Booking.com were somewhat misleading, so it would be helpful if this was clearly stated for future guests. The villa lacked a coffee machine. While this would normally not be an issue, given the resort’s secluded location, I expected all essential amenities to be provided. Breakfast was average at best.
Staff was Amazing Best rooms I stayed in thailand View from resort's "not-a-swimming-pool" was the best susnset view in Krabi The hotel features a stylish and contemporary design.

South AfricaOur stay at Anawa Krabi was absolutely amazing. Nestled in serene, lush surroundings, this beautiful retreat offers a truly peaceful escape from the usual tourist crowds. If you're looking for something a bit off the beaten track, this is exactly the place. The setting is tranquil and naturally stunning – a haven for anyone wanting to slow down and reconnect with nature. The rooms are beautifully and thoughtfully designed, blending comfort with a sense of understated luxury. This is a place for the discerning traveller – someone seeking authenticity, calm, and a more intimate experience of Thailand, far from the commercial buzz. We came to unwind and left feeling completely refreshed. I would absolutely visit again and highly recommend it to those looking for something unique and restorative.

NetherlandsDon’t expect much around but this is also the charme of the location
What a beautiful hotel! We thought it had such a unique design that sits so beautiful in the surrounding. Everything in the design is thought out so well, definitely a wow arrival and stay. Even more beautiful than the photos! We stayed with our four month old daughter and had a fantastic time. We even extended and stayed six nights. The views kept amazing us, the vila with private pool was a privilege to enjoy while the baby slept and the restaurant and roomservice (at no extra cost) was a great luxury. Everybody was very kind to us. Although the f&b was perhaps a bit limited - for a vegetarian - staying at a rather remote location, however the kitchen and staff were able to make a lot of amendments and create more dishes throughout the day. We thought the pricing of the food and massages were also very compatible. We also had an allergy situation and staff helped us by getting us medicine, thank you. We would surely recommend for a relaxed stay enjoying your company and the view! You can visit ao nang from here and we also recommend Following Giants.

Absolutely incredible stay! The setting is stunning, the rooms are immaculate with private pools, and the food is consistently delicious. Room service was top-notch, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder. Anawa is an absolute must-stay—I would’ve spent the whole week there if it hadn’t booked up so quickly (for very good reason). Truly a one-of-a-kind, special place. Don’t miss it!

WOW. This hotel blew us away. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and super photogenic. Our group of 4 stayed in the 2 bed villa which was beautiful, like something out of an interior design magazine (the photos really do not do it justice!). The massages we booked through the hotel were some of the best I've ever had. The hotel was also happy to accommodate our vegan diet and the staff generally could not have been nicer.

NetherlandsI booked this place as a base in Ao Nang im 2 bookings, 1 night and 3 nights. I wanted to do a lot of beach and eat authentic local food. The hotel is about a 25-35 min away from Ao Nang. Unless you’ve prebooked a taxi, It’s very difficult to to catch one at night if you’re looking to come back. I rented a scooter and it’s a scenic drive to and from the hotel, however a part of the road is unlit at night. There were few breakfast options. Felt poor compared to the rest. There were no cordless speakers in the villa. There is no place to hang a towel except at the outside. This was a bit annoying when at the sink.
Very private villas with breathtaking views, as well as in the common areas. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The food at the restaurant was very good. They made great oat cappucinos and cocktails.

LithuaniaBoth, breakfast and dinner menus should be improved dramatically to meet the expectations in such a location. The same applies to outsourced massage services that you could order to your room. The massage was just simply terrible.
Located 30min from Krabi airport and built in the valley of national park. Very peaceful, premium built and just amazing view from each villa's window. While it is 30mins away from the busy town, it is just 10mins away from Following giants elephant safari (no touching, feeding or bathing), 12mins from mangroves kayaks and just 8minutes from the famous Din Daeng Doi for the beautiful views. Scooter was delivered by KrabiMotorRentals.com next to our door, hence no headache with logistics at all.

AustraliaA remarkable new villa development in the hills about half an hour from Krabi and Ao Nang. There are only 13 villas and I assume all built and appointed to the same very high quality standard as the one I stayed in. The private pool and terrace also amazing. Extensive park-like grounds are beautiful and well maintained with a wonderful reception, bar and restaurant area sitting at the highest point with sweeping views across the surrounding hills. The restaurant is excellent and you can have meals brought to your villa if you prefer to dine there. Management and staff always smiling, always helpful. This place is just so peaceful and luxurious. It’s a bit remote so you need transport to get around and I hired a motorbike through the hotel to avoid having to call for a car whenever I wanted to go out. Also handy for getting to the nearest 7-eleven which is a couple of kms away. If you’re looking for an ultra-luxe stay in this area, immersed in nature and away from the craziness of Ao Nang, I can highly recommend Anawi.

BelgiumA true paradise on earth! 🌿💦 We had booked one night at Anawa Krabi, but the experience was so exceptional that we returned a few days later to stay for four more nights. The setting is simply breathtaking: a peaceful environment, tastefully decorated rooms, and even a private pool—a true luxury! The staff and management are outstanding: genuine, attentive, and always available to make the stay even more enjoyable. We regularly had breakfast and dinner on-site, and everything was delicious. A calm, comfortable, and relaxing place… A true haven of peace that we highly recommend without hesitation!
