It's next to a tight, busy road, so if you plan on walking anywhere, be prepared. However, walking is totally possible, I ran to Cafés and 7-Eleven a bunch of times.

It's a great place, with lovely staff. It's close to the bus station, so it was a nice place for me to stay before heading to Pai early the next day. I checked in twice in a 2 week period because of the location it was handy to stay there.

I think for a hostel, the price is a bit on the high side. However, I realised that maybe, it is because of the electricity, especially, as every room has an AC. However, this high rate can be reduced by putting fans as well as ACs so that one can alternate between fans and ACs, rather than being forced to use ACs all the time. Secondly, the hostel needs to be fumigated regularly because the mosquitoes make sitting out or enjoying the various sit-outs difficult. The bathrooms and toilets, though cleaned daily, are not properly done. The cleaner does a shoddy job.

I liked the arrangement of the place. It was always tidy and cleaned up. Hawai speaks good English and helps out a lot with information. They provide the basics for a comfortable stay: clean drinking water, toiletries, hot water for showers, coffee and beverages etc. and there are many sit-out places.

it’s a bit out of the way, if ur ok with getting lots of grabs or walking long distances then would consider. there’s a really nice khao soi restaurant 2 mins away though and a coffee shop in the hostel. i stayed for 1 night as its close to the airport and think it was perfect for that

It's a little remote, you need Grab or inDrive all the time, around there nothing much to do or see. Restaurants close around 7pm. Not overly social hostel, if that's important for you. No tours or events offered.

Family run business. Daughter Hawaii speaks very good English. Cosy, tranquil hostel, very clean, free amenities like water, coffee, biscuits. Several seating areas. Self washing (cold) for 20 Baht. Clean comfy bedsheets, spacious female dorms.

A bit far from the city centre and not accessible by public transports. The double room faces the name road, it can get quite noisy at times

Sometimes it was tough to find more toilet paper for the shared bathrooms. Be sure to bring wipes with you on your travels. Fortunately, I had some.

The staff was great and they were quickly responsive with correspondence. My room was very clean.

Nice vibe and feels like people are welcome. Clean, near Central Festival and good price. You can wash here. Would totally recommend but check the location. I came in and instantly wanted to book for another night. No regrets. Nice people here.

Unbeatable host hospitality. Passion for your work and for helping with anything. It's definitely not the most central place. However, it is worth staying here. If you are looking for a little more tranquility from the city center it is a good option. I also highly recommend a place to eat that is a block away in an abandoned building.

Even though the shared bathroom are enough in number and well done I prefer a private one when I book a private room, but I know this is not possible in a traditional house

The traditional wooden house is beautiful and well kept. The attached new part is well done and you can’t realize where one starts and the other ends. Quite place, nice atmosphere!

It’s about a 35 minute walk from the main square of Chiang Mai, but a lot quicker if you’re on a motorbike. Defo nice to see other areas of Chiang Mai anyway. :)

This area of Thai people may not familiar with English.

Allred has a wide place in public. There are many rooms in this building but not crowd at all. The space is so well organized. Thus, If you are critical to cleanness you should stay here.
