Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ThailandThe streets nearby are busy, loud, and do not feel safe for walking. It is not really in the heart of Ao Nang for tourism / walking / shopping / beach. I was using it as a launch point for the Krabi airport, which I felt it served my purpose well. The sink has a bad smell coming from the drain. My bathroom had cockroaches. I would not recommend for travellers intending to enjoy the beach experience. It was a 35 minute walk from Ao Nang beach. For those on a budget, could be a reasonable place to stay and plan to take cars or motorbikes as transport to tourist areas.
The staff were on time in reception expecting me. They are usually only at reception by request. The staff also helped me book a private airport taxi, and provide contact information so I felt the booking was safe and secure. I was grateful for their help. The rooms are private with bathroom (shower, toilet, sink), fridge, bed, additional sink, clothing hanging area, and queen bed. The shower had warm water. There is a pool which I didn't use, but it looked clean. Very excellent value for price - they are priced similarly to public/shared hostel accommodations nearby or closer to Ao Nang beach.

BrazilUnfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing: The floors seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. While the bedsheets were clean, the sink emitted a strong unpleasant odor. The air conditioner had mold, which was an issue in both rooms we stayed in. Conclusion: It’s a good hotel with fair value for money, a convenient location, and excellent staff. However, more attention to cleanliness is essential to improve the overall experience. I recommend the management address these issues with a deep.
The location is convenient, with plenty of restaurants nearby. It's about a 10-minute drive to the city center, and walking is also an option. The hotel has a pool, which is a great feature. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and responsive. We had an issue with our room, and they quickly arranged another one for us.

United StatesA chair in the room would be nicer to do any desk work. Bed a a bit stiff/hard, but ok.
Good location, walking distance to Makro, Lotus and 7-11. Restaurants close by also made this a handy place to stay. Had a good sized refrigerator, and decent kitchen sink.

United KingdomSo many things were broken in my room! I had the last room which had a bunch of garbage piled up close to where I wanted to sit for morning coffee. ;( The water in the "kitchen" was not working, the slope in the "shower" was away from the drain, the "bum gun" was way too strong ;( The water ran dry for 12 hours so the toilet didn't flush and we couldn't have tea/coffee in our room. A lot of feral cats fighting! For the price I would have looked for something else.
The blackout material on the windows was great though! The front of house gal was lovely and responsive about everything when I asked her. Sweet little pool.

United KingdomRude staff for the most part other than the cleaning lady she was lovely and friendly the rooms aren’t that great although nice bathroom and it’s a good size but the bed was horrible it was a slab of concrete the mattress was uncomfortable the hotel itself is a run down motel with a nice pool slapped towards the back that isn’t that clean looks like a closed down shop from the front the best bit of the hotel was the moped rental at a good price but you’ve got to be careful with the rental as we felt we had been stitched up somewhat when we gave it back, we stayed a week id suggest that it’s a place for 2-3 days there’s a very noisy building site right next door it’s not the most relaxing

The hotel was near perfect for our short stay. The location is good with plenty of amenities in the immediate area, and roughly a 20 minute walk down to Ao Nang Beach, but quiet enough to get a good sleep. The rooms were basic but had everything we needed and very comfortable and the pool right outside the door was exactly what we needed! The staff were excellent, quickly sorting the couple of issues we had with the rooms, and even came to my rescue when I lost my room key, remaining friendly and polite at 3am when many others would have been less than happy. Would happily stay again or recommend to friends.
