I loved this place. Located close to the beach, the hostel is super clean and safe (especially for women traveling alone) and is a great place to relax. They have filtered water and free coffee in the morning, which is nice. I highly recommend this hostel.

I felt very welcome in Casaola Mizata, the people working there are all very nice. It’s a beautiful place, very relaxing with very tasty food. They also have a area for sport that you can use as you want! I can only recommend it, had such a great time there, thank you for everything !

We really enjoyed our stay and ended up extending another night. The whole vibe was great. The hostel staff was the best, they organised spikeball and yoga. The pool was much needed as it was really hot.

Dude, everything. This place is absolutely incredible, the rooms were nice and comfortable with great AC and comfy mattresses with a clean shower. As a surfer, this place had everything I needed: a shower to rinse off the board, solid rental boards, superglue when my traction pad was peeling off, surf skates, and most of all perfect waves literally a 10 second walk from the hostel. I especially enjoyed the beach break right out front, it was pretty much nonstop pumping, saw plenty of hollow tubes that looked makeable too. Also, the staff were incredible, so friendly, and will surf with ya too! extra shout out to Matias and Raymundo 🤙. The food was also solid at the hostel, and there were some good options close by too!

The only complaint would be there was no hot water, maybe it was user error, but even in a hot climate I do like a warm shower.

The property was nestled away between high foliage covered walls with a beautiful wood door. You pass through and it is like an oasis. We checked in at the bar with a handsome young surfer with long hair who fit the bill of the place. He was so kind and gracious helping my husband up the stairs. This town reminded me of the surf towns in Southern California in the 60s. Laid back little places. The spot across the street served the best tacos and nachos. Huge plate and the bill for both was only $9.00. A delightful experience.

The beer was a bit pricey (at a double price, compared to the restaurant across the street). The manager is very friendly, while the rest of the staff seams a bit shy and they usually "hide" in the back of the bar area. Although I speak fluently Spanish they didn't like to interact with me. But I didn't really mind that :)

Loved hanging at the pool area, that, in my opinion, is the highlight of this property. The beach is just across the street, so are all the restaurants. The room was very clean, there's also a water tank that you can use, coffee is offered every morning. Food was nice.

We had a great experience here! Even though Booking made an error with our booking and our room wasn't available on our day of arrival the host Sergio was very kind and helpful and made sure we had a place to stay without extra costs :) The rooms are impeccable, all equipped with ac and the beds are very comfortable. The vibe at casaola is very chill, it's a great place to relax and to take a dive in the pool and also the beach is just 1 minute away Other than that the food is good and there're some good options for breakfast, lunch and dinner

Staff, layout, and location all exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a dorm. The beds were comfy, and most of all, the bunk beds are solid and not wobbly. The restaurant served good food at reasonable prices. The vibe was welcoming. Easy to make friends. I felt like I had a friendly community surrounding me.

We stayed in a container room and there is a big window next to the bed that had no curtain or blinds, so there was absolutely zero privacy there and anyone could look in as the window was below the bed and up to the ceiling almost. Also the door was a huge sliding window with 2 blinds, however the blinds don’t meet so there is about a 2-3 inch gap as well and anyone could see straight through and into the entire room and direct into the bed. I would highly suggest they fix this as this will definitely deter a lot of guests from staying here. This room was originally our friends’ room but they did not feel comfortable staying here because of the privacy issues so we swapped rooms with them so they wouldn’t leave. We ended un using our bathroom towels to cover the top of the windows and stacked our backpacks and our pillows to cover the bottom parts of them. That helped but this could definitely be fixed by adding a blind to that window and maybe a curtain to cover the gap in the other window on the sliding door.

It was very clean and comfortable. It felt like we were in a shared mansion because we felt like we were home. The staff was very kind and welcoming.

Absolutely gorgeous facilities! I spent one night in the shipping container room—such a unique and memorable experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-designed. For my second night, I stayed in the six-person shared dorm, which was budget-friendly and perfectly suited my needs. Overall, this place is a true gem! I’d love to return for a longer stay, especially if I bring my laptop and work remotely. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable stay and close proximity to the beach.
