Everything was fine for me.

A lovely guesthouse in a family home. Luiz was very helpful, he found a tour for me to join to Santa Ana volcano, I rented a motorbike from him and gave me good recommendations to eat. It has a nice courtyard area to relax in and was able to chat to other guests. It’s a 5 minute walk to the main plaza. There was hot water unlike a lot of places in El Salvador.

Excellent host. Such a warm welcome and always open to offer help and advice. Really feels like you are being hosted in someone’s home. Great central location. Area is very safe and walkable, day and night. Restaurants, markets and other points of interest nearby

The best thing about the stay was Luis the owner. He was very helpful. For a fee picked me up at the airport and helped me with a custom visit to 3 historic sites. He made great local recomendations on things like restaurants and even the specific area of an unmarled bus stop.

A lovely homestay close to the city centre. The host is incredibly friendly, offering any kind of information I might require for the city or my continued travels. Breakfast is great value and made to your preferences. I'd stay again in a heartbeat!

Casa Vieja is a great place for your stay in Santa Ana. The location is perfect, the prices are great. The owner Don Luis and his family is very welcoming! We did laundry here as well. The kitchen is well equipped. The house is quiet and the rooms are great size !

What an amazing stay!! Casa Vieja is very central making it easy to walk or take buses to wherever you want to go. It is a house with two inner yards and the rooms all around. The kitchen is in the middle and is fully equipped . There are sitting areas all around the yard where you can relax and socialise. The room was comfortable, clean with a big bed and hot shower at all times. And the best part of all is Luis the owner who sincerely loves being a good hosst. He goes over and beyond to help with anything you may need. I had to go to the hospital for a vaccine and he offered to come with me and spent 3 hours translating for me and helping me find my way around. And then made great suggestions for tours.. Generally El Salvador is a gem and is an amazing place to visit.

Luis was a great host. Very accommodating and supportive throughout! I hired a motor bike from him and got lots of advice about places to visit etc. Breakfast was great and varied and the room was spacious and great value.

Nice quiet location close to centro area (5 mins) Luis the owner is so helpful it makes all the difference From local buses and walks to general El Salvador info he is a wealth of knowledge.He can arrange transport/guides and tours if needed Nice to have cold filtered water and morning coffees There is a cute comunal area to chat with other guests and cold beers in fridge after a days hiking . Very nice family would highly recommend

The owner is amazing, like a friend. Also the breakfast was very good, freshly prepared every morning. Services were perfect, like rented scooter in the hostel and laundry. Thanks for everything. There is a big patio where you can mingle with other people. Wifi worked well. Hot water is a plus. Close to town center. I also like the place with restaurants, which is nearby this accommodation in the other direction from the town center. (5 mins walk and you can find the best pupuseria or grill restaurants)

There was no soap or hot water in the shower. The rooms don't have outwardly facing windows, they face into a quart yard which is quite dark but also where everyone walks through and sits in front of the room so the room was noisy Checks the taxes and other charges which add quite a lot to the bill

The owner was very friendly and helpful with tips for the surrounding area Great filter coffee was provided in the morning The rooms are very basic but the aircon does work well

The water was broken when we arrived and it took about 30 mins to fix (but they fixed it as quickly as possible) The rooms don't get any natural lighting so is either dark or really bright

I am a large sized person & the towel was smaller compared to my size. (But this happened across most hotels in Central America) It was not a big deal. I will stay here again if I were to visit Santa Ana

Nice & clean property. Friendly owners who go out of the way to help you. Luis guided me well about my travel plan in El Salvador. I used to send him a message & within minutes I'd get the response! The kitchen was good and large and clean, the room was large enough for me.
