Great cozy guesthouse, clean, spacious, comfortable. Really close to the main sites and many restaurants. Dinesh and Bart were great hosts. They were always available if needed and easy to reach by WhatsApp. Dinesh let me know about Museum Night, which turned out to be a really great experience. Would definitely stay there again on my next visit to Paramaribo!

The top suite is really hot but I guess the weather was just hot for the two days we stayed. Lucckily there are fans and climatisation. We didn’t try the pool unfortunately it was really beautiful though.

The breakfast is very gigantic, really good and wealthy. Bart and Dinesh (and Ben) care a lot of your wellbeing and will help you as long as you need for help (cab, a good restaurant address…).

My daughter and I spent 3 nights here at the end of our 2 weeks in Suriname. We had the intention of taking some day trips during this time period, but I got really sick, and we ended up spending a LOT of time on the grounds of Prins Hendrik. We were so happy to have such a clean, safe, comfortable place to rest and recover. Thank you, Bart and Dinesh, for taking such excellent care of us.

All was super good. Just a slight recommendation to avoid a funny smell there was in the room at the beginning.

The room with balcony and the garden view, the garden itself with the mango tree and the pool. Perfect combination for an Easter break. Dinesh was really helpful finding activities for me. The room is provided with drinks, coffee and tea, it is very comfortable and fully equipped.

minor thing....but the toilet is outside the room down some steps. huge, fantastic shower and bath area as well, but a bit of a faff during the night.

What a place! Lovely rooms in a classic, old wooden building close to everything you want to see in Paramaribo, with a beautiful garden area, and a plunge pool. Really big room, with super-comfy huge bed, fridge, cool furniture and....oh, happy day, a hammock to swing in with a beer or two. or three. The owners were cool as cucumber, it was so well equipped with glasses, utensils and a water fountain, and as a person without a car, it was really central so I could walk everywhere easy peasy. I really enjoyed staying here....I think you might too....

Hosts go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The room was very cute and had all necessary amenities, the mattress slept well and the mangoes from the garden were a delicious treat. Would definitely recommend it, hidden pearl in the center of Paramaribo, close to restaurants and places of interest. Keep up the good work!!

A toaster in the room would be great and the pots/pans could do with an upgrade.

Bart and Dinesh are very kind and helpful, they make you feel at right at home. We had an excellent stay in Paramaribo. The location is nice and central & safe. The atmosphere is great, a nice green relaxing backyard with a pool, makes you feel you are not even in the city. Thanks for our stay!

The room of Prins Hendriks suite, where I stayed, only offers the shower due to its limited space of the bathroom. A bath would make the hotel 11 out of 10.

The hosts, Dinesh and Bart(I met only Dinesh, though), are exceptionally professional at their work. The building is over a hundred years old and gives an exotic colonial atmosphere. Even though it is old, I could feel how well it is maintained and cared thoroughly through my long travel experience. Every facility inside works perfectly, and I could not have the privilege to taste the breakfast(too many people in my family to pay for), but I assume it would have been wonderful, too, considering the expertise the host has. Location is so amazing that everything in Paramaribo is nearby.

We were expecting at arrival a suite with swimming pool, but we were rerouted to a nearby second suite, however without a swimming pool. It would have bee nice to know there were two suites instead of the one that's listed on Booking.com. But the help we got from Dinesh and Bart made up for this minor issue.

The hosts were very nice and welcoming. They helped us with any problem we had in getting a taxi, finding our way to a nearby supermarket, evening-programming, etc.

It was an exceptionally pleasant experience in a 5 week, multi-country trip, to stay with Dinesh and Bart in Prins Hendrik Studios. From the moment we arrived until we left we were in the most hospitable and helpful hands that made our stay in Suriname truly memorable. Well done lads and every good wish for the future.

very clean room and comfortable bed. Wood floor gives the room a super cozy vibe. The 24/7 pool is awesome. Convenient location with restaurants nearby. Had a ‘work day’ included in our stay and WIFI was good enough for a TEAMS presentation I gave online. Used the large breakfast table next to the pool for setting up my laptop (power outlet for American plugs available right next to that table). Super communication with the host Dinesh (before, during and after the stay)!

We stayed in the Prins Hendrik apartment, it was a very spacious suite, clean and comfortable. We had a very late check-in because of our flight and Dinesh was more than happy to accommodate. I also forgot to pack water shoes and he was quick with a recommendation for a shop to buy some. We ordered breakfast the first morning and it was lovely, the kitchen has lots of amenities if you wanted to cook yourself. Good location, it was centrally located to all the places we wanted to walk to. Overall very satisfied!

Very comfortable facilities in a good location in Paramaribo. Co-owner Dinesh was there to receive us after a very late night arrival. We had a bit of a miscommunication about which rooms we booked at first, but Dinesh fixed the situation immediately and all was good.
